If expandable storage is a must, the strongest documented options here are the Lenovo Tab M11 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. Both have manufacturer-backed microSD support, but the evidence does not establish current prices or which is the better value in your country. Check the exact regional model before buying: specifications and capacity limits can vary.
At a glance
| Tablet | microSD support established by the cited manufacturer | What to verify before buying |
|---|---|---|
| Lenovo Tab M11 | Lenovo’s US product page and PSREF for model ZADA0299UA list a microSD slot; the cited sources do not state a maximum card capacity. Lenovo US product page · Lenovo PSREF | Exact regional SKU, card capacity and format support, local price, warranty and availability. |
| Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ | Samsung India specifies microSD expansion up to 1 TB for the cited 128 GB Wi-Fi configuration. That limit is not established here for every regional model. Samsung India specifications | Whether the 1 TB limit applies to your exact model, plus local price, warranty and availability. |
| Nokia T20 | HMD lists microSD support but the cited specification page does not establish a capacity ceiling. HMD specifications | Card limit, current software and security support, device condition, price and warranty—especially for used or discounted stock. |
No current regional prices, stock or retailer listings are established here, so this is a shortlist by documented card support, not a live cheapest-tablet ranking.
Lenovo Tab M11: a documented slot, but confirm the SKU
Lenovo’s US product page lists expandable microSD storage, and Lenovo’s PSREF entry for model ZADA0299UA lists a microSD card slot and Android 13 or later. Lenovo also says specifications can vary by region and model, so the family name alone is not enough to confirm the version a retailer is selling.
The Lenovo product listing identifies a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. That specification alone does not establish real-world performance or show that the M11 is faster or slower than the Galaxy Tab A9+.

Before ordering, compare the full model code on the retailer listing with Lenovo’s documentation and check the maximum supported card capacity for that exact version. The cited Lenovo sources do not establish a capacity ceiling.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+: the cited 1 TB limit is regional
Samsung India’s specification page for the Galaxy Tab A9+ 128 GB Wi-Fi model says microSD expansion is supported up to 1 TB. Treat that as a specification for the cited market and configuration—not a confirmed limit for every A9+ sold worldwide.

If you are buying outside India or considering another storage or connectivity configuration, check the corresponding local product page or ask the seller to confirm the precise model code and supported card capacity. Do not assume the cited 1 TB figure applies automatically.
Nokia T20: consider only after checking support and condition
HMD’s regional Nokia T20 specification page lists microSD support and Android 11. The page cited here does not state a maximum card capacity, and current security or software support status is not established. That makes the T20 a possible discounted or used-market option only if you can verify its condition, local card limit, support status and price before purchase.

How to choose between them
- Start with your local SKU. Match the full model code, region and configuration to the manufacturer’s documentation; a shared product name does not guarantee identical specifications.
- Check the card limit and format. Confirm the maximum microSD capacity and file-system requirements for that exact tablet version. A compatible card is optional and should not be assumed to come in the box.
- Compare the configuration you will actually buy. Verify built-in storage, RAM, display, software-update commitment and included accessories on the local manufacturer page or retailer listing. These details are not established consistently across the cited sources, so they cannot support a reliable spec ranking here.
- Compare total local value. Check current price, stock, warranty and return terms for the exact SKU. “Affordable” depends on market and date; no live deal or current cheapest model is established here.
Adding storage with a microSD card
A compatible microSD card can provide optional extra storage on either verified tablet family. Check the tablet’s exact capacity ceiling and file-system requirements before choosing a card, and confirm whether the tablet supports your intended use of the card. Card compatibility and included accessories depend on the model and package; the cited evidence does not say that a card is bundled.
