There is no single best 32-inch LED TV for every buyer: the right choice depends on your country, budget, resolution needs and preferred smart-TV platform. TechRadar’s reviewed shortlist names the LG 32LQ6300 as its pick for most people, with different budget and premium options for the US and UK. Treat those picks as a starting point, then confirm the exact model and local availability before buying.
Which 32-inch LED TV should you choose?
TechRadar’s guide recommends four models for distinct roles. Its review findings are editorial assessments, not a universal ranking or independent testing for every market. The models and availability can vary by country and year.

| Model | Role and market in TechRadar’s guide | Display and resolution | Smart platform | Reported strengths and tradeoffs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LG 32LQ6300 | Best 32-inch TV for most people | LED, Full HD (1080p) | webOS | TechRadar praises its HDR picture, gaming performance and better-than-expected audio; it notes a cluttered home menu and some black-uniformity issues. |
| Amazon 2-series (2023) | Best cheap 32-inch TV in the US | LED, 720p | Fire TV | The guide notes decent sound and Fire TV access, but reports inconsistent picture quality and potentially laggy navigation. |
| TCL S5400 | Best cheap 32-inch TV in the UK | LCD, 1080p | Google TV | A budget-oriented option; check the exact model and stock in your country. |
| Samsung Q60D | Best 32-inch QLED TV in the US | QLED, listed as 4K | Tizen | The guide praises its detailed, colorful picture and HDR10+ support, while flagging its price and thin sound. |
These descriptions reflect TechRadar’s comparison, which considers picture, sound, smart-TV menus and gaming. Read the guide and its review details before treating a model as the right fit for your particular needs.
Why resolution matters on a small TV
“32-inch” describes screen size, not picture detail. The guide’s picks range from 720p on the Amazon 2-series to Full HD on the LG and TCL, and listed 4K on the Samsung Q60D. If you sit close, display text, or watch detailed sources, compare native resolution rather than assuming all small TVs look alike. The 4K option is unusual in this guide’s 32-inch selection.
#1 Best Overall
- 720p resolution - View your favorite movies, shows and games in high definition.
- Alexa voice control - The Alexa Voice Remote lets you easily control your entertainment, search across apps, switch inputs, and more using just your voice. Press and hold the voice button and ask Alexa to easily find, launch, and control content, and even switch to cable.
- Access thousands of shows with Fire TV - Watch over 1.5 million streaming movies and TV episodes with access to thousands of channels, apps and Alexa skills, including Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, YouTube, Apple TV+, Disney+, ESPN+, Sling TV, Paramount+, and other services right from this TV.*
- DTS Virtual-X Sound - An immersive sound format creates a three-dimensional sound experience with your TV’s speakers.
- Supports HDMI ARC - Sends audio directly from the HDMI jack to a compatible soundbar or AV receiver, removing the need for an extra cable.
Do not choose by the “LED” label alone. The shortlist includes LED, LCD and QLED descriptions; compare the exact model’s specifications and picture performance. HDR support is also model-specific: TechRadar highlights HDR picture on the LG and HDR10+ on the Samsung, but those mentions do not establish identical HDR capabilities across the sets.
Match the smart-TV platform to your household
The listed platforms are webOS on the LG, Fire TV on the Amazon, Google TV on the TCL and Tizen on the Samsung. Consider which interface and apps your household already uses, and whether voice controls or other ecosystem features matter to you. The guide’s review notes a cluttered LG home menu and potentially laggy Amazon navigation, so ease of use is worth checking alongside the app list.

Check sound and gaming before you buy
Built-in sound
Small TVs can be a compromise for dialogue or room-filling sound. TechRadar describes the LG’s audio as better than expected, calls the Amazon’s sound decent, and characterizes the Samsung Q60D’s sound as thin. If possible, listen in person; for a main-room set or dialogue-heavy viewing, consider whether external audio fits your setup. The evidence does not establish that every 32-inch buyer needs a soundbar.

TechRadar gives broad positive gaming impressions for the LG, but the comparison does not provide model-specific measurements for refresh rate or input lag, or a full account of HDMI features. For a console, check the exact model’s manual or specification page for refresh rate, input lag, HDMI capabilities and compatibility with the features you use.

Verify the exact model and local availability
A model name in a review does not guarantee it is currently sold in your country. Manufacturer listings illustrate how quickly the market can differ:
- LG’s US site identifies the 32LB650BPUA as a new 2026 32-inch HD smart TV, listing HDR10 Pro, webOS, Alpha 5 AI Processor Gen9 and AI Sound Pro. This manufacturer listing does not directly compare its picture performance with the reviewed 32LQ6300. Check LG’s US product page.
- Samsung UK’s 2026 QE32Q5FAAUXXU is a 32-inch QLED Full HD smart TV, but its page says “No longer available.” It is evidence of a regional model, not a live recommendation. Check Samsung UK’s listing.
- TCL India’s 32-inch range includes market-specific models, including QLED options; do not assume that lineup matches North American or European models. See TCL India’s range.
- TCL Canada’s separate legacy 32S321-CA is a 720p Roku model whose official listing is marked sold out. Check the Canadian listing.
A Tom’s Guide deal report updated October 2, 2026 describes Amazon’s Ember 2-Series in 32- and 40-inch sizes as 1080p, with Wi-Fi 6, an Alexa voice remote and HDR10/HLG. The deal in that report is for the 40-inch set, so its price should not be applied to the 32-inch model. Read the deal report.

Measure the space and check the purchase terms
Measure the location before choosing a set, and check the product’s full dimensions with its stand, plus room for cables and ventilation. TCL India gives a typical 32-inch screen area of about 27.9 inches wide by 15.7 inches high; that is an estimate of the screen itself, not the outer dimensions of every television. See TCL India’s size guidance.
Before checkout, confirm the full model number and suffix, local stock, warranty and return terms. Regional names can look similar while referring to different specifications or availability. Do not rely on a price or deal for a different screen size or market.
