Its published specifications make it possible to assess whether it could suit a kitchen; they do not establish how well it cooks. Before considering a used or remaining-stock unit, check its availability, cut-out dimensions and electrical requirements.
What the Beko BCT903IG offers
Beko’s product information describes the BCT903IG as a 90 cm induction cooktop with five cooking zones, including an IndyFlex/Flexizone area. That flexible zone is intended to accommodate different pan arrangements; the published material does not establish independent cooking-performance results.

The manufacturer lists direct-access touch controls, separate controls for each zone and 15 power levels per zone. Other listed features include a booster, timer and buzzer, memory, stop-and-go, key lock, residual-heat indicators and automatic shut-off. Specifications can vary by market or documentation revision. Beko’s sheet says specifications are correct at the time of printing, so confirm the details for the individual unit and Australian purchase before relying on them.

- Induction stoves rely on cookware to heat, so it’s essential to choose magnetic bottom cookware with a minimum diameter of 5 inches. Auto-pan detection will shut off automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware, or the incorrect cookware is detected
- Although induction itself is a noiseless process, there may be high pitched sounds from the cookware due to multiple layers of metals sandwiched together. Please allow the induction cooker to cool down before cleaning
Will it fit, and can your kitchen power it?
The 90 cm appliance width is not the same as the cabinet opening it needs: Beko specifies an 880 × 490 mm cut-out. Measure the existing opening and check the actual worktop, cabinetry and clearances against the installation manual before buying. The manual directs that the worktop be aligned and fixed horizontally and gives safety-distance requirements; follow the manual for the specific installation.
Beko’s 2021 sheet lists 10.8 kW total power and a 40 A fuse. Those figures make electrical capacity a key compatibility question, not a do-it-yourself wiring instruction. The 2019 BCT903IG manual says the product must be installed by a qualified person in accordance with regulations in force. Cookware compatibility
Induction works with cookware that has a magnetic base. Check the pans you already own with a magnet or look for cookware explicitly marked induction-compatible. You do not need a special Beko-branded set; only replace pans that are not compatible or do not suit the cooking surface.
Availability and independent review evidence
CHOICE lists the BCT903IG as a discontinued model. Its public product listing showed a price of $1,899 when retrieved on 7 October 2026, but that is not a guaranteed current offer and does not establish that a seller has stock. A retailer page may remain online after a product is discontinued, so confirm availability and the condition of any remaining or second-hand unit directly with the seller.

CHOICE’s listing shows the model was tested in 2023 or earlier, but its public page does not reveal the expert rating, test scores, pros or cons. Those hidden results cannot support a conclusion here about cooking speed, low-heat control, ease of use, reliability or user satisfaction.
