A reported “Lord Doom” Funko Pop suggests an alternate Doctor Doom design with gold trim, regal details and a modified mask. GamesRadar connects the figure to Funko’s concept series, which it describes as showcasing concept art and scrapped designs. That makes it a clue to an unused or alternate look—not proof that this was the original finalized costume plan or that it appears in Avengers: Doomsday.
What the Lord Doom Funko Pop shows
GamesRadar reports that the “Lord Doom” figure has gold trimmings, regalia and a slightly modified mask. Those details set it apart from the darker, armored look associated with the film’s official materials. GamesRadar places the collectible in Funko’s concept series, which it describes as featuring designs based on concept art or scrapped ideas that did not make the cut. GamesRadar’s report on the Lord Doom figure is the basis for that interpretation.

The distinction matters: a concept-series collectible can point to an alternate design, but the report does not show the underlying concept art, name its designer or document when the design was considered. It therefore does not establish that this was the studio’s original plan for Doom’s final movie costume.

Disney’s official film page identifies Robert Downey Jr. as Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom and provides official imagery. It does not identify the Lord Doom Funko design or confirm its place in the film’s costume development. Disney lists the theatrical release date as December 18, 2026. Until the film or an authoritative production source establishes more, the Funko is best read as an alternate-design hint rather than a preview of Doom’s confirmed screen costume.

How the separate Hot Toys figure fits in
There is also a distinct, premium Doctor Doom collectible: Sideshow’s Hot Toys sixth-scale figure, described as based on Doom’s Avengers: Doomsday appearance. Its product page describes a dark green hooded cloak over a layered armored suit and gives the figure’s height as approximately 31 cm. The shown item is labeled a prototype, so its final production appearance may differ. Sideshow’s Hot Toys Doctor Doom product page describes the figure and its accessories; Sideshow’s September 9, 2026 article about the prototype figures notes that the Doom’s Throne sixth-scale accessory is sold separately.
| Collectible | What it represents | Format and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Lord Doom Funko Pop | An alternate design with gold trim, regalia and a modified mask, as reported by GamesRadar | Concept-series figure; the report does not establish its production history or confirm it as the movie costume |
| Hot Toys Doctor Doom | A figure described by Sideshow as based on the film appearance | Sixth-scale collectible, approximately 31 cm tall; shown prototype may differ from the final product |
These collectibles offer different kinds of evidence: the Funko report points toward an alternate design, while Sideshow describes its Hot Toys figure as based on the movie appearance. Neither source, by itself, supplies a full account of how the film costume developed.
