ASUS is selling the ProArt P16 (H7607BA) and ProArt P14 (H7407BA) as creator laptops built on Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform, and both use 120Hz Lumina Pro OLED touchscreens. The P16 is the larger machine, with a 16-inch 4K panel and a listed US starting price of $2,799.99. The P14 is the lighter, 14-inch 3K model, starting at $2,599.99. The figures below come from ASUS’s launch materials and product pages, and they describe what ASUS says these laptops can do.
What ASUS announced
ASUS introduced both models in a September 2, 2026 Pressroom announcement tied to IFA, then published a detailed US specification sheet on October 7, 2026 through GlobeNewswire. ASUS positions both laptops for creators, AI developers, and workflow builders. That is the company’s own description of the target audience, not an independent judgment of how well the machines suit those users.

ASUS’s product page for the P16 gives the clearest statement of intent. It describes the laptop as “designed for AI-powered creators, workflow builders, and developers who demand powerful local AI capabilities and advanced content creation workflows.” The P14 is presented as the same family with a smaller screen and a smaller battery.

The displays
Both models use OLED touchscreens rated at 120Hz. A 120Hz panel refreshes its image 120 times per second, twice as often as a standard 60Hz display, which makes scrolling, pen strokes, and fast-moving timelines look smoother. ASUS lists both panels at up to 1,600 nits of HDR peak brightness. A peak figure describes how bright the screen can get in a short highlight, not how bright it stays across a full white screen, so it is worth reading that number as a ceiling.

ASUS also says both panels reach a Delta E below 1. Delta E is a standard measure of colour difference from a reference target, and values under 1 are generally considered imperceptible to most viewers. ASUS states this figure; it has not been verified by an outside lab in the sources available for this article. For the P16 specifically, ASUS describes variable refresh rate support and an anti-reflection coating. The P14’s page descriptions of those two features are not part of the published material cited here.
P16 versus P14
The two models share a memory ceiling, a display refresh rate, and a brightness rating. Most of the practical differences come down to screen size, storage ceiling, battery, and weight.

The memory and storage figures are ceilings. ASUS’s specification release lists the maxima across the lineup, and the configuration you can buy will depend on the SKU and the market. Check the exact configuration before comparing storage or memory between the two.

It is about 0.64 lb lighter on paper, and its battery is 9.9Wh smaller. The P16 offers more screen area, a higher storage ceiling, and a larger battery, along with the port list ASUS published for it. Neither spec sheet claims that one model is faster than the other, and no independent comparison of their performance is available.

What RTX Spark is, according to ASUS
ASUS describes RTX Spark as a platform that combines a Blackwell RTX GPU with a Grace CPU. It is the reason both laptops are marketed around local AI work: ASUS says the hardware is meant to run large models on the device rather than relying only on cloud services.
Advertised maximums on the P16 product page
- Up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance
- Up to 6,144 Blackwell GPU cores
- A Grace CPU with up to 20 cores
- Up to 128GB of unified memory
These are the platform’s advertised maximum values, not guaranteed results for every configuration.

Workloads ASUS cites
ASUS’s product page and announcement list several workloads the hardware is meant to handle. These are vendor-stated capability claims:
- Local large language models of up to 120 billion parameters, with a 1-million-token context window
- 3D scenes of 90GB or more
- 12K video editing
- 4K AI video generation
Treat these as what ASUS says the machine can do. The sources do not include benchmark results, measured frame rates, or test conditions for any of them.

Pricing and availability
According to the October 7, 2026 specification release, ASUS is taking orders as follows:
- Preorders begin October 7, 2026.
- The first US units arrive October 16, 2026.
- Select configurations are listed for ASUS eShop and Best Buy.
- Starting US MSRPs are $2,799.99 for the P16 and $2,599.99 for the P14.
Retailer stock and the configurations on offer can change after publication, so confirm the exact model number (H7607BA or H7407BA), configuration, and price on the listing before you order. The sources in this article do not cover pricing or availability outside the US.
A conflicting date on ASUS’s Pressroom
One ASUS Pressroom page for the global launch currently displays a dateline of October 8, 2027. That conflicts with the October 7, 2026 specification release, which gives an October 2026 preorder timeline, and with the September 2, 2026 announcement. This article uses the 2026 dates because they match the specification sheet and the rest of the launch sequence. The dateline should be read as an unresolved inconsistency on ASUS’s page, not as a confirmed later launch.
What the published figures do not establish
- No independent benchmarks or measured performance results for either model are available in the sources for this article.
- Delta E, brightness, and colour figures are ASUS’s own claims.
- The AI performance, LLM size, and creative workload figures describe what ASUS says the hardware can handle.
- Specifications are published maxima. The memory, storage, and display options available in your market may be narrower.
- Port and feature details for the P14 are not stated in the October 7, 2026 specification release.
If you need to decide between these two machines, the most useful checks are the screen size you want to work on, the storage and memory configuration on the listing you can actually buy, and independent reviews once they are published.
