Yes. Kinder and Nutella are separate brands owned by the Ferrero Group. Neither brand owns the other, and their products are different.

Ferrero Group is the shared parent company behind both brands. Ferrero’s official brand portfolio includes Kinder and Nutella. That shared ownership does not make them one brand or one product.

Where did Ferrero begin?
Ferrero traces its beginnings to 1946, when brothers Pietro and Giovanni began working together in their family’s pastry shop in Alba, Piedmont. The company describes itself as a family business. Its FAQ identifies Giovanni Ferrero as President of the Ferrero Group and Alessandro Nervegna as CEO of Ferrero Core.
