How to use the tiers for your roster
The official Apple App Store listing for Arcana Tactics describes it as a tactical random-defense RPG centered on hero fusions. It says the game has over 160 heroes, 70 Arcana cards, and real-time PvP. Those systems matter: the tier list is not a recommendation to simply select a fixed team of your highest-ranked unlocked heroes for every battle.
- Consider the situation. A tier placement does not establish how a hero performs in a particular mode or stage. Match the choice to the challenge you are playing.
- Fit the lineup. Pocket Gamer describes hero classes as Attack, Support, and Defence. Consider whether a hero’s role and skills complement the lineup you can build.
- Account for fusion and Arcana. A hero’s usefulness depends on how it combines with other heroes and the Arcana available to support your setup.
- Use the list as a starting point. The reviewed guides do not provide a shared, mode-by-mode rating dataset or comparative win-rate evidence. The tiers cannot settle every roster-specific decision.
Why other Arcana Tactics lists may rank heroes differently
BlueStacks publishes a separate Arcana Tactics tier list and guide to heroes and Arcana cards. Its top group includes Soul Bow, Vampire, Bounty Hunter, Cavalier, and Dream Painter—heroes that Pocket Gamer also places in S. But Pocket Gamer’s S tier is much broader, and the guides do not use a shared tier structure or clearly comparable criteria. The difference is not, by itself, proof that one guide is wrong.

The opened Pocket Gamer article by Mihail Katsoris says it was updated September 15, 2026, and labels the list version 5.4.0. Its search-result preview instead says October 6, 2026; that later date is not confirmed by the opened article. Apple’s version history shows version 5.4.0 dated June 2, 2025, so it does not independently verify a 2026 game version. Check the guide and your installed game for newer updates before relying on the ranking as current.
