Instead of Wazuh
Wazuh alternatives
Wazuh combines XDR and SIEM to analyze security data across endpoints, clouds, and networks. Its rules flag errors, misconfigurations, malicious activity, and policy violations; it also monitors file changes, identifies software with known vulnerabilities, and can block network access from a threat source. It monitors services including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, and GitHub. The self-hosted open-source plan is free, while Wazuh Cloud starts at $571 per month. Agents support several operating systems, and default rulesets map to compliance frameworks, though those mappings alone do not certify compliance.

A different tool may suit you better if you need a specific network control rather than Wazuh’s broader security-data analysis. CrowdSec focuses on detecting and blocking malicious IPs; Suricata and SELKS center on network inspection, while IPFire and OPNsense provide firewall capabilities. OSSEC is another host-based option with log analysis and file-integrity checks. Compare deployment and platform needs, response capabilities, and price before switching. A narrower product may add network controls or specialized monitoring, but may not offer Wazuh’s combination of endpoint, cloud, vulnerability, and compliance features.
