Instead of Topmarks
Topmarks alternatives
Topmarks brings together learning games, worksheets, apps and classroom materials for primary-age children, with resources for children, teachers and parents at home or school. Its subjects range from maths and English to reading, writing and problem solving, and its own materials sit alongside selected educational content from elsewhere on the web. The website is free; the Hit the Button Maths app adds mental maths practice for ages 5–11, with 166 modes across six topics, timed or untimed play, offline access and no ads or in-app purchases.

A different service may suit you better if you need teacher training, a curriculum-specific library or materials focused on a particular subject. Topmarks spans several age bands, but Hit the Button is a narrower maths app and costs $3.99 once; its license does not transfer between platforms. As you compare alternatives, weigh whether you need resources for pupils or professional learning for educators, the grades and subjects you teach, and whether the service offers printable materials, structured lessons, student pathways or classroom tools. Also consider platform coverage, access requirements and whether free resources or a paid membership fit your use.
