Tembrica Video Background Remover is a web tool that removes or replaces video backgrounds. It uses AI for ordinary footage and chroma key for green, blue, black, or white backgrounds. It accepts MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, and 3GP files. Output can keep transparency or use a color, gradient, image, or blurred original background. Chroma-key controls include range, softness, spill suppression, automatic key-color detection, and an eyedropper. Restore and cut-out brushes support frame-by-frame mask editing, with neighboring-frame outlines and edits that can be held across a range. Processing runs in the browser using WebAssembly and WebGPU. Export destinations include OBS and the web, Premiere and DaVinci, Telegram video stickers, animated WebP, APNG, and MP4 with a new background. Telegram sticker output is WebM VP9 with alpha, up to 512 pixels on the long side, 3 seconds, and 30 fps, with no audio. The free plan allows 2 daily runs but lists a 0-minute file-duration allowance; Premium lists 1,000 daily runs and a 1-minute allowance. The three- and six-month Premium plans cost 48.49 USD per month and 82.49 USD per month, respectively, each as a one-off payment without auto-renewal. The 12-month plan is listed at 134.49 PLN per year as a one-off payment without auto-renewal; another 12-month listing has no price.
