What Stormboard is

Stormboard is a data-first collaborative workflow platform and shared digital whiteboard for meetings, project management, and team initiatives. Teams can create Storms and add text, files, images, videos, and sticky notes to develop ideas together. It offers more than 250 templates and exports including task reports, spreadsheet analytics, and editable presentations. For agile planning, Stormboard describes live two-way integrations with Jira, Rally, and Azure DevOps, allowing changes to be mirrored as teams plan work. Other listed integrations include Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Office 365, Google Drive, Webex, Zoom, Zapier, Slack, Dropbox, and Box.

The service is available on web, Windows, Android, and iOS. Its phone app is a limited companion, with work syncing between desktop and phone apps. The free Personal plan supports five members per Storm, 20MB of storage per user, and 10 guests. Business adds unlimited members charged per user and 1GB of storage; Enterprise adds SAML SSO, priority support and training, and an optional single-tenant setup. Paid plans start at $10 per user per month, and Business subscriptions include a 30-day free trial. Stormboard says cloud data transfers use TLS encryption, its services are hosted on AWS, and it is certified to SOC 2 Type II requirements.

Limits

The free Personal plan is limited to five members per Storm, 20MB of storage per user, and 10 guests. The mobile app has limited features and functionality.
