Settler says it is not a compliance certification. Its audit exports are described as compatible with SOC 2 evidence collection, alongside data residency and configurable retention controls; those capabilities should not be mistaken for certification.

Open Source costs nothing and includes self-hosting, local evidence and replay traces, community support and up to 10,000 monthly reconciliations. It suits teams able to operate the software themselves, but its volume cap and community support make it less suitable for high-volume or support-dependent operations.

Cloud API costs $99 a month (billed $99/mo). It provides multi-tenant cloud, hosted evidence and up to 100,000 monthly reconciliations, with 1,000 exceptions in the baseline. This trades self-hosting control for a hosted option and a higher quota.

Managed Operations costs $399 a month (billed $399+/mo) and includes 1,000,000+ monthly reconciliations, operator-assisted exceptions, monthly close evidence and a business-hours SLA. It is the clearest fit for teams that need both high volume and operational support. Enterprise Dedicated has custom pricing, contractual volume, dedicated, VPC or on-prem deployment, custom retention and a contractual SLA.

Settler offers a free trial, but its length and renewal terms are not given. The published plans distinguish their monthly limits and support levels, so buyers should weigh volume and the need for operator assistance before choosing.
