What Precise Visit is

Precise Visit is a cloud-based visitor management system from Precise Biometrics, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Lund, Sweden. It manages the visitor journey from invitation and registration through access and evacuation. Visitors can check in at an iPad or kiosk, or use a QR code to register on their own mobile device without extra hardware. Workflows include pre-registration, automatic welcome emails or SMS, host notifications, visitor badges, digital document signing, and delivery management. Hosts can schedule visitors through Outlook or Google Calendar.

Precise Visit connects with access systems including RCO, Integra, ARX, Genetec, Avigilon, Telcred, Tidomat, LenelS2, Acre (Feenics), and Entryfy. Integrated visitor access can use QR codes, PIN codes, biometrics, web links, or intercom systems. An evacuation app and real-time evacuation lists help organizations account for visitors in emergencies. Administrators can define how long visitor data is retained before it is automatically anonymized. Precise Biometrics says data is hosted in Swedish data centers within the EU and the service supports GDPR compliance. The cloud service has automatic updates and does not require local infrastructure. Plans are quote-based, with options for smaller organizations, multiple locations, and multi-tenant buildings.
