Ollie

What Ollie is

Ollie is a WordPress block theme and design toolkit for creating responsive websites in the WordPress Site Editor. Its free theme includes more than 50 patterns and full-page designs. Ollie Pro adds a cloud library with over 200 responsive patterns and more than 30 full-page designs, plus extensions for responsive controls, animations, hover effects, Smart Sync, keyboard shortcuts, and video modals. A setup wizard helps install plugins, configure settings, apply branding, and create pages. Ollie’s eCommerce pattern collection is designed for WooCommerce stores; the theme also supports child themes and right-to-left layouts. Ollie works on the web and supports the WordPress block editor. The free theme is available without a traditional trial; Pro purchases come with a 14-day refund window. Creator costs $89 a year for one website, Freelancer costs $149 a year for 10 websites, and Agency costs $299 a year for 100 websites. Pro library access lasts for one subscription year and renews annually until canceled. If a subscription ends, existing Pro patterns remain in use, but the library and ability to add new Pro patterns are unavailable. Ollie is built and managed by Mike McAlister and Patrick Posner.

Who it suits

Ollie suits individual creators, freelancers, agencies, and enterprises building sites with the WordPress block editor. WooCommerce store builders can use its eCommerce pattern collection, while Pro plans support activation on one, 10, or 100 websites.

Limits

The free theme includes over 50 patterns and full-page designs. Pro library access lasts for one subscription year and renews annually until canceled; after cancellation, the library and ability to add new Pro patterns are unavailable, although patterns already in use remain unaffected.

Getting started

1. Visit the Ollie website.
2. Use the free Ollie theme or choose an Ollie Pro plan.
3. Activate a Pro plan on one, 10, or 100 websites, depending on the plan.
4. Use the setup wizard to install plugins, configure settings, set branding, and create pages.
5. Browse the Pro cloud library to add patterns while the subscription is active.

Verdict

Choose Ollie if you build WordPress sites in the block editor and want a free theme with designed patterns or a larger Pro library. Its WooCommerce collection and plans for up to 100 websites may suit store builders and teams. Look elsewhere if you need a traditional Pro trial or ongoing access to the Pro library after canceling.
