What Homeroomie is

Homeroomie generates classroom lesson plans and matching student worksheets for teachers from early elementary through middle school. It covers ELA, math, science, and social studies, with alignment to Common Core or supported state standards selected by state, grade, and subject. Plans include objectives, timed activities, materials, assessment ideas, and differentiation strategies. Worksheet activities include reading comprehension, vocabulary and writing exercises, and creative drawing prompts, with answer keys. Teachers can add a children’s book or choose a theme such as dinosaurs or space, then edit activities, pacing, and objectives. The Pro unit planner arranges daily objectives and activities in a one-to-four-week calendar, and lets users expand a day into a full lesson. Pro also includes an emergency sub plan generator for half-day or full-day packets with a schedule, procedures, no-prep activities, and an end-of-day checklist.
