Google Home

Google Home brings compatible smart devices together for setup, control, and home automation. Users can pin favorite devices to a dashboard and review camera feeds, alerts, and activity from connected Google, Nest, and partner devices. It supports Matter devices and thousands of products with the Works with Google Home badge. Automations can come from suggestions, be created with Gemini assistance from text, or be built in an editor using starters, conditions, and actions. Gemini for Home supports natural spoken requests, including multiple requests at once. Google Home for web lets users monitor cameras and doorbells from a desktop or laptop, adjust devices, run automations, and create them with a script editor. The mobile app is available for Android and iOS. A Matter hub is required to set up, control, and automate Matter devices while away from home. Many features require the app, Wi-Fi, and an internet connection, and availability can vary by country and language. The app is free; optional Premium plans are listed at $10/month or $20/month.
