Doctena Pro brings appointment scheduling, patient access and call handling into one system for medical and paramedical practices. Patients can book at any hour through Doctena or a practice’s website without creating an account. Practices can set appointment types and lengths, booking rules, and availability for each practitioner and location. The agenda sends automatic SMS and email reminders, and canceled times can be offered to people on a waiting list.

The Doctena Virtual Assistant answers incoming calls and can book appointments using current agenda availability. Practitioners can check their agenda in the mobile app while away from the practice. Doctena says the service connects with more than 25 practice-management systems, syncing appointments, availability and patient data in real time. Other capabilities include digital intake forms, recurring appointments, telehealth and online payments.
