Alight Motion
What Alight Motion is
Alight Motion is a motion design app for creating animation, motion graphics, visual effects and video edits. Projects can contain multiple graphics, video and audio layers, with more than 100 customizable effect building blocks. Keyframe animation works across settings and includes easing presets and custom timing curves. Editing tools include grouping, masking, colour adjustment and velocity-based motion blur. Projects export as MP4 video, GIF animation or PNG sequences, and editable project packages can be shared between devices or with other users. The app is listed for Android, iOS and macOS, with mobile app support and no desktop app. A free version provides basic features but places a watermark on videos. Paid memberships remove the watermark and unlock premium effects and features; the listed Monthly Subscription costs $6.99 a month. Projects are stored locally, accounts support up to three devices, and at least 1.5 GB RAM is required.
