AcademyNC combines study partners and groups, virtual study rooms, focus tools, AI tutoring, and productivity tracking for students on Android and the web. Its matching considers courses, study preferences, strengths and weaknesses, availability, and learning goals. Study tools include a Pomodoro timer, planner, assignment tracking, reminders, study-time analytics, streaks, goals, and leaderboards. AI features include a tutor, flashcards, quizzes, and a summary generator. Calendar integration and scheduling tools can help students find common study times, though no calendar provider is named. Most study groups have 3–5 students, and preferences can be adjusted for pairs or larger groups. The app offers live coworking and private rooms with video presence. Google Play's developer-provided safety details say no data is collected or shared with third parties, data is encrypted in transit, and users can request deletion. Users can block other users and delete chats. Pricing information conflicts: one homepage section says all features are free forever, while its FAQ describes a limited free plan and premium plans.
