Een vaste Apple TV-widget verwijder je via de bewerking van het toegangsscherm: houd het scherm ingedrukt, tik op Pas aan en verwijder de widget. Zie je in plaats daarvan een Live activiteit of mediabediening, dan heb je een andere instelling of functie te maken.
Controleer eerst wat er op je toegangsscherm staat
De aanpak hangt af van het soort Apple TV-element. Een widget staat vast in de widgetzone onder de klok. Een Live activiteit toont informatie over een activiteit die bezig is, zoals live sportupdates. Mediabediening verschijnt wanneer media op je iPhone of een extern apparaat, zoals Apple TV 4K, wordt afgespeeld.

Verwijder de vaste Apple TV-widget
Toegangsschermwidgets zijn beschikbaar vanaf iOS 16. De onderstaande stappen gelden voor iOS 16 of nieuwer; Apple kan labels of de precieze weergave in latere versies aanpassen.
- Toon het toegangsscherm en houd het ingedrukt tot de bewerkingsopties verschijnen.
- Tik op Pas aan.
- Kies het toegangsscherm dat je wilt wijzigen.
- Tik in de widgetzone op de Apple TV-widget. Tik vervolgens op de verwijderknop. Afhankelijk van de versie verschijnt die knop nadat je de widget selecteert.
- Tik op Gereed om de wijziging op te slaan.
Apple beschrijft het toevoegen van toegangsschermwidgets via Voeg widgets toe en het verwijderen ervan met de verwijderknop wanneer je ruimte wilt maken. Zie Widgets toevoegen en bewerken op een iPhone.

Als het een Live activiteit van de TV-app is
Open Instellingen > Apps en tik op TV of Apple TV (de naam kan verschillen). Als Live activiteiten wordt aangeboden, schakel je die instelling uit om Live activiteiten van de app tegen te gaan. De optie is niet voor iedere app beschikbaar, dus het ontbreken ervan betekent niet dat je iets over het hoofd ziet.
Als je mediabediening ziet
Regelaars voor media die op de iPhone of een extern apparaat afspelen, zijn geen vaste widget. Apple documenteert bediening vanaf het toegangsscherm, maar geeft geen specifieke instelling waarmee je alleen de Apple TV-bediening permanent kunt verbergen. De widget verwijderen verandert daarom niet noodzakelijk wat er verschijnt wanneer er media wordt afgespeeld.

De Apple TV-app verwijderen is een andere, ingrijpendere optie
Je hoeft de app niet te verwijderen om alleen de vaste widget weg te halen. Apple noemt de Apple TV-app als een ingebouwde app die op een iPhone met iOS 14 of nieuwer kan worden verwijderd. Apple waarschuwt dat het verwijderen van ingebouwde apps bijbehorende gebruikersgegevens en configuratiebestanden kan verwijderen en gevolgen kan hebben voor verbonden functies.
