Yes. Apple’s U.S. online store lists Sony’s PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller & Charging Station for $249.95, as listed on August 16, 2026. The bundle contains both left and right controllers, a charging station and its power accessories. Apple lists compatibility with the M2 and M5 Apple Vision Pro, but the headset must run visionOS 26 or later, and each app must implement support for the controllers.
This is a Sony accessory sold by Apple—not an Apple-designed controller and not a way to turn Vision Pro into a PSVR2 headset.
What Apple is selling
The listing is a complete controller set, not a single replacement unit or a Vision Pro-specific redesign. The box contains:
- Left PSVR2 Sense controller with wrist strap
- Right PSVR2 Sense controller with wrist strap
- PSVR2 Sense controller charging station
- AC adapter and AC power cord
- Two USB adapters
Apple identifies the manufacturer part number as 1000050612. The controllers have built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The Apple product page lists the M2 and M5 Apple Vision Pro as compatible models: Apple’s product listing.

Price and support
The U.S. price was $249.95 on August 16, 2026, before applicable tax or regional delivery charges. That price covers both controllers and the dock.
Although you buy it from Apple, Sony makes the product. Apple’s limited warranty does not apply to this non-Apple-branded accessory; manufacturer support is handled by Sony.
Compatibility requirements
Vision Pro and visionOS
Apple’s spatial-accessory support requires visionOS 26 or later. The controllers connect as spatial accessories, rather than functioning only as ordinary Bluetooth gamepads. Apple’s App Store feature page documents the visionOS 26 requirement: Apple’s spatial-accessory feature.
Support is decided by each app
Pairing a controller does not make every Vision Pro app recognize it. Apple warns that compatibility is app-specific. An app may support buttons and sticks, full six-degree-of-freedom tracking, or no controller input at all. Check the app’s listing or developer documentation before buying for a particular game.

How to pair both controllers with Vision Pro
Pair the left and right controllers separately through Bluetooth. A controller appears only while its pairing indicator is blinking.

- Prepare the left controller. Press and hold the PlayStation button and the Create button simultaneously. Create is to the left of the joystick. Keep holding until the indicator on the bottom blinks.
- Pair the left controller. On Vision Pro, open Settings > Bluetooth, turn Bluetooth on if necessary, and tap the left controller in the device list.
- Prepare the right controller. Press and hold the PlayStation button and the Options button simultaneously. Options is to the right of the joystick. Hold until the indicator blinks.
- Pair the right controller. In Settings > Bluetooth, tap the right controller.
If the indicator stops blinking before you select the controller, repeat the relevant button combination. After pairing, battery levels and controller settings are available under Settings > General > Game Controller. Apple’s complete instructions are at Apple Support.
What the controllers add
In a compatible experience, Apple documents:
- Tracked position and rotation (six degrees of freedom)
- Buttons, joysticks and adaptive-style triggers as exposed by the accessory
- Finger-touch detection on supported controls
- Vibration and haptic feedback
- Physical input for navigation and interaction
Vision Pro’s cameras work with sensors in the controllers to determine their position and orientation. That lets a supported app use actions such as aiming, throwing or paddling in a way ordinary Bluetooth gamepads cannot. Apple explains the developer model in its spatial-accessory session.
However, “controller support” is not synonymous with tracked-controller support. An app can read buttons while ignoring the controller’s spatial pose, so verify which functions the developer actually implemented.

Pickle Pro is a concrete example whose U.S. App Store listing requires visionOS 26 or later and was priced at $7.99 when checked. These examples show a growing supported group, not a mature catalog in which every Vision Pro game works with PSVR2 Sense.

What this purchase does not do
It does not add the PSVR2 library to Vision Pro
The controllers do not make Vision Pro compatible with a PS5 or with PlayStation VR2 games. Sony’s compatibility documentation treats PSVR2 Sense as part of the PS5/PSVR2 system, while Apple separately supports the same hardware as a spatial accessory on Vision Pro. It is not universal across visionOS
Hand-tracking apps, media apps and games that support only standard gamepads may gain nothing from buying this bundle. The developer must opt into the spatial-accessory capabilities.

Enthusiasts can try ALVR, which streams OpenVR/SteamVR content from a compatible Windows or Linux computer to Vision Pro and advertises PSVR2-controller support on visionOS 26. This requires a capable PC, a compatible OpenVR setup, the computer and headset on the same local network, and strong Wi-Fi—ideally 5 GHz—with the PC connected to the router by Ethernet.
ALVR is a third-party path, not an Apple or Sony guarantee of universal PC-VR compatibility. Results depend on the game, SteamVR/OpenVR configuration, network conditions and software versions. Its listing notes limitations such as incomplete button-touch support and possible instability with older streamer versions.

The controller does not appear in Bluetooth
- Use the correct combination: PlayStation + Create for left, PlayStation + Options for right.
- Confirm the bottom indicator is blinking when you open Bluetooth settings.
- Pair each controller as a separate Bluetooth device.
- If blinking stops, hold the combination again and retry.
- Disconnect unnecessary Bluetooth accessories if Vision Pro reports possible wireless interference.

It pairs but does nothing in a game
That usually indicates app support rather than a failed pairing. Look for explicit PSVR2 Sense or spatial-accessory support in the app listing or the developer’s documentation.

The app may implement ordinary controller input without implementing six-degree-of-freedom spatial tracking. Pairing alone cannot add that feature.
One controller is nearly empty
Both controllers use built-in rechargeable batteries. Place them in the included charging station to charge them together.

Alternatives
Vision Pro hand tracking
Hand tracking remains the simplest option for general navigation and apps designed around eyes and hands. It is a poor substitute for games needing precise aiming, throwing, paddling, triggers or tactile feedback.
Standard compatible game controllers
Apple supports MFi controllers and supported Xbox and PlayStation controllers on Vision Pro. They can provide familiar buttons, but ordinary gamepads generally do not provide the PSVR2 Sense combination of spatial tracking, finger-touch detection and motion interaction.
Logitech Muse
Logitech Muse is another prominently supported spatial accessory in visionOS 26, aimed at writing, drawing, design and three-dimensional creative work rather than gaming.
Bottom line
Apple really does list Sony’s PSVR2 Sense controllers, and the $249.95 bundle includes both controllers plus the charging station. On a Vision Pro running visionOS 26 or later, they can deliver tracked movement, physical controls, touch detection and haptics—but only in apps that support those capabilities. They are a legitimate niche upgrade for enthusiasts, not a shortcut to PSVR2 games or universal PC VR.
