In the available results, the iPhone 17 with Apple A19 scores higher than the standard Google Pixel 11 with Tensor G6 in both Geekbench CPU tests and the reviewed 3DMark graphics test. Those figures describe specific phone models and test runs—not an invariant ranking of the chips or a guarantee of better everyday performance.
Which phones use A19 and Tensor G6?
Apple identifies A19 as the processor in iPhone 17 in its iPhone 17 specifications. Google lists Tensor G6 in the Pixel 11 family on its Pixel comparison page and in its Pixel hardware specifications. Google’s pages also identify an octa-core processor and security features including a Tensor security core and Titan M3; they do not provide a complete Tensor G6 technical datasheet. The reviewed Apple specifications page likewise does not provide a matching full silicon specification table, so a detailed component-by-component specification comparison is not established by these sources.

Apple A19 vs Google Tensor G6 benchmark results
The clearest comparison is between the iPhone 17 and standard Pixel 11. Results favor the iPhone 17 in the CPU and graphics measurements below, but the Geekbench figures come from two separate datasets and must be read separately.

Geekbench CPU scores
| Source and test | iPhone 17 with A19 | Pixel 11 with Tensor G6 |
|---|---|---|
| Geekbench 7 Browser comparison record, 2026 | 3,166 single-core; 8,684 multi-core | 2,290 single-core; 6,186 multi-core |
| Tom’s Guide review, Geekbench 6, 2026 | 3,701 single-core; 9,460 multi-core | 2,664 single-core; 7,347 multi-core |
Both sources show the iPhone ahead in single-core and multi-core results. The Geekbench 7 figures are from one browser comparison record, not an average or controlled sample of retail phones. Tom’s Guide reports its own Geekbench 6 review measurements. Because these are different benchmark versions and datasets, do not combine their scores or treat the raw numbers as a single scale.

Graphics test
In Tom’s Guide’s 2026 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited review test, the iPhone 17 reached 130.97 frames per second and the standard Pixel 11 reached 84.28 fps. This result favors the iPhone 17 in that named test; it does not establish performance across every game or graphics workload.
Why Pixel 11 Pro results are a separate comparison
Tom’s Guide reports different figures for Pixel 11 Pro models, so they should not be substituted for the standard Pixel 11. Its 2026 Geekbench 6 results are 2,649 single-core and 7,164 multi-core for Pixel 11 Pro, and 2,713 single-core and 7,453 multi-core for Pixel 11 Pro XL. The same Pro review reports 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Unlimited scores of 3,113 (18.65 fps) for Pixel 11 Pro and 3,249 (19.46 fps) for Pixel 11 Pro XL. Wild Life Extreme Unlimited is a different test from the standard Pixel 11 review’s Wild Life Unlimited; those graphics results are not directly comparable. Tom’s Guide’s Pixel 11 Pro review is a separate dataset.

What the scores do—and do not—tell you
Benchmark leadership is useful for comparing measured performance under a particular test, but it does not by itself settle which phone will feel faster for your own tasks. The available comparisons do not establish equivalent results for AI workloads, power efficiency, sustained performance under prolonged load, or value. Nor do the official product pages provide matched, complete silicon specifications that would explain the benchmark differences.
For a purchase decision, treat A19 versus Tensor G6 as one factor alongside the host phone, operating system, apps you use, and the features you value. The tested standard models favor iPhone 17 in the cited CPU and graphics results; choosing between the phones requires more than extrapolating from those scores.
