Yes—you can play Aniimo on PC and mobile and continue the same save on both, provided you use the same server and link your account with an email. The main differences are input and device settings: PC has confirmed PlayStation and Xbox controller support, while mobile offers a 60 FPS mode on most devices, with heat and graphics trade-offs. Official sources do not provide controlled PC-versus-mobile performance tests or a complete verified button map.
Availability and cross-platform progress
Aniimo launched for PC and consoles on September 16, 2026 (UTC+8), and for iOS and Android on September 23, 2026. Availability can vary by region, so check the relevant store. The official Aniimo mobile launch FAQ says that game progress is shared across all platforms within the same server; different servers keep independent data.
That server condition matters: before moving between devices, make sure both logins reach the same server. The official PC/console FAQ says a PlayStation 5 server is assigned based on the PSN account’s registered region, and cross-server progress sharing is unsupported. Platform access and server assignment may therefore differ by region.
Link your account before switching devices
Aniimo’s mobile FAQ says a first login with a third-party platform account prompts you to link an email address. Linking lets you use the account on another platform. The FAQ warns that skipping the prompt may mean losing progress and launch rewards associated with other accounts. One email can be linked to multiple third-party platform accounts, but each third-party account can be linked to only one email.

The safest sequence is to link the account you intend to use, then sign in with that account and check the server when setting up the second device. A separate Steam announcement advertises rewards for logging in on both PC and mobile; that is a login-reward offer, not the basis for the save-sharing rule.
Controls: PC input and mobile touch
The control choice is a practical difference, but official sources do not publish a complete, verified button-by-button comparison. Mobile is the touchscreen option; the PC client is the keyboard-and-mouse option. Exact mappings and whether every action is available through each input method should be checked in the live game rather than assumed from an unofficial control guide.

The official PC/console FAQ confirms support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox controllers. That makes a controller an option for PC players who prefer gamepad input, not a requirement. It does not establish that every model behaves identically. For Steam users whose controller does not work, Aniimo’s official Steam announcement advises disabling Steam Input in the game’s Steam properties and restarting.
Performance and settings: what is established
The published information describes PC hardware targets and mobile settings, but it does not compare equivalent devices or scenes. There are no official controlled PC-versus-mobile measurements for frame rate, heat, battery use, loading time, image quality, or input latency. A 60 FPS mode on mobile is not, by itself, proof that mobile is faster or smoother than PC.

Mobile: frame rate, heat, and screen size
Aniimo’s official mobile FAQ says 60 FPS mode is available except on a small number of lower-end devices. It also warns that running at 60 FPS may heat the device. If heat is an issue, the developer suggests reducing graphics quality or rendering scale and tuning settings to the device’s capabilities.
On tablets and other large-screen devices, large-screen mode is enabled automatically and uses a higher rendering scale, which requires more processing power. The official mobile announcement says its recommended device specifications were last updated September 14, 2026 and may change. Android users should check for Vulkan 1.1 support: the FAQ says older GPUs without that driver may prevent installation or entry into the game. The announcement’s recommendation of at least 18 GB free space was for pre-download, not a permanent installed-size requirement.

PC: compare your hardware with Steam’s listing
Steam lists these Windows PC requirements. Check the current Aniimo Steam listing before installing, because requirements may change. The official PC pre-download guide recommends an SSD and at least 40 GB free for the PC client.

Which version should you choose?
Choose based on how you want to play and what device you have, rather than expecting one platform to be categorically better-performing. PC is the natural fit if you prefer keyboard and mouse or want to use a supported controller; mobile suits touchscreen play and lets you use a mobile device, subject to its compatibility and thermal limits.

- For play across both: link the account by email and confirm the server is the same on each device.
- For mobile: start with settings suited to your device; reduce graphics quality or rendering scale if the phone heats up.
- For PC: compare your system with Steam’s live requirements and leave the listed storage space available.
- For a controller on PC: use a PlayStation 5 or Xbox controller family supported by the official FAQ; if a Steam controller fails, try the official Steam Input troubleshooting step.
