For a guaranteed Perfect, Sparkling Inferlupa, the guide-described direct route is to capture an eligible Emberpup with a Sparkling Cube, evolve it into Flameruff, then choose Inferlupa after unlocking the branch through Journey: Warrior. When Nurture makes sense
To use this route, the detailed guide says you need at least 40% caught completion in Beast Fang Ridge to unlock Nurture there. It recommends catching eligible Emberpup and Flameruff during Nurture rather than defeating them, then appraising the catches for potential. Fire Shards are suggested as an offering to attract Fire types. A Perfect Flameruff can be a useful candidate, but a naturally Perfect result does not establish Sparkling appearance.

Only Basic-form Flameruff is described as eligible for the Inferlupa branch. Highland and Mountain Woods forms are not eligible, according to the detailed guide. A Flameruff’s location alone does not identify its form, so inspect the form label before you invest in evolution items.
The family progression is Emberpup (Lumin) → Flameruff (Gamma) → Inferlupa (Nova). Emberpup cannot evolve directly into Inferlupa, and Scorchhowl is a separate branch rather than a stage on this route. The detailed route places the multi-server-date quest at Beast Fang Ridge and describes collecting Spirit Link records before the final quest encounter. Completing the quest unlocks the branch; it does not award Inferlupa directly.
- Raise the candidate to level 20. The reference guides list level 20 as the evolution requirement.
- Collect six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits. Both evolution references agree on this requirement.
- Check the evolution panel for the Night Stone count. The sources disagree: Aniimo Guide’s Inferlupa entry lists one Night Stone, while Nerd’s Chalk’s step-by-step guide lists three. Do not commit materials based on either count alone; use the current in-game evolution interface. Nerd’s Chalk says a Flux Crystal can replace a Night Stone but cannot replace the six spirits.
- Select Inferlupa when the branch is available. Confirm the candidate is Basic form and that the evolution panel shows the expected materials before you proceed.
The detailed guide gives an estimated 3–5 minute wait for a spirit spawn; treat that as an estimate, not a guaranteed timer.

Inferlupa’s listed BREAK stat is 108, and Unbroken Flameruff Spirit is the clearest Break-oriented tool in its kit: each stack increases BREAK efficiency by 10%, up to three stacks for 20 seconds. Because no reviewed source documents a tested optimal rotation, treat any exact sequence as theorycraft rather than established best play. A practical approach is to check skill tags and use the BREAK-enhancing skill when gauge damage is the priority; consider element matchups as well as the BRK stat.
Aniimo Guide’s Break-role page quotes the game wording for Alphas and Omegas: “While in BREAK or BREAK Recovery state, they take greatly increased damage.” It gives no numerical damage multiplier. The page also reports secondary game-table analysis across 201 rows suggesting BREAK damage is unaffected by level gap; that is not presented as an official developer statement.
Break timing for captures
The catching guide’s sequence is to engage the target, drain its BREAK gauge, and throw an Aniipod during the vulnerable window. For Alphas and Omegas, the Break-role source describes increased damage during BREAK or BREAK Recovery, but does not quantify it.
