When does Angelian Trigger come out on PC and PS5?
PiXEL announced on October 5, 2026, that the Steam version is scheduled for December 10, 2026, and the PS5 version is planned for 2027. Gematsu reported the same timing from the announcement. No specific PS5 day has been announced in the sources available. PiXEL’s announcement and Gematsu’s report provide the date details.

Steam’s product page currently marks the game “Coming soon” rather than displaying December 10 as a store release date. The PC date is therefore PiXEL’s announced schedule, not a date currently shown on Steam. Check the Steam listing for any updated store information.

The Switch release is documented on PiXEL’s official Angelian Trigger page. It lists Japanese as the language and one-player play. The page’s listed prices—¥4,950 for the standard package and ¥8,800 for the limited package—are historical listing prices, not confirmed current prices.

Does the Steam version support English?
Steam currently lists Japanese for the interface, full audio and subtitles, and marks English as unsupported. Gematsu noted on October 5, 2026, that English had appeared on the listing earlier but was no longer shown at that time. Store language metadata can change, so check Steam’s language table near release rather than relying on an earlier listing. Neither source establishes English support for the upcoming versions.
What kind of game is Angelian Trigger?
PiXEL describes it as a pseudo-3D shooter: the player moves toward the depth of the screen, shoots enemies and fights stage bosses. The Steam description says the story and arcade modes contain 24 stages in total, with four stages on each planet; a separate music mode has its own boss. These are details in the publisher’s store description, not independent gameplay findings.

Two protagonists with different abilities
- Mia uses dual pistols and can double jump.
- Sheryl carries a large cannon and can float.
The store description also mentions support robot O-P2, rear covering fire, force fields, homing lasers that can lock onto multiple enemies, and bonus points for defeating groups.
Story premise
Detectives Mia and Sheryl are based around Wati, a city on Galadseek. After accepting an anonymous request to investigate the green planet Sarius, they become entangled in a conspiracy, according to the Steam synopsis.

What is included in the Switch editions?
PiXEL documents three Japanese Switch formats: a standard packaged edition, a limited packaged edition and a download version. The limited package is described as including the game, an art book, a special box, an original pin badge, 3D glasses and an Eames certificate. The publisher’s page confirms the editions, but not present-day retailer stock or availability.
PiXEL’s Switch information and edition descriptions are on its official product page. The cited release information does not confirm physical editions, regional availability, pricing or additional languages for the planned PC and PS5 versions.
