What makes it a training-focused smartwatch?
Amazfit lists more than 170 workout modes, Smart Strength Training and Zepp Coach adaptive plans. These are features stated by the manufacturer; the listing does not establish how accurately the watch tracks heart rate or GPS in real-world use.

Software additions listed for OTA 3
The product page’s software note is dated July 2026 and identifies version OTA 3. Amazfit says that update adds HybridCharge Energy Intelligence and HYROX simulation training. Availability of these features can depend on the watch’s software version.
Display, maps, storage and battery claims
- Display: Amazfit specifies a 1.5-inch AMOLED panel with brightness of up to 3,000 nits. That is a manufacturer specification, not a controlled brightness measurement.
- Storage: The watch has 4 GB of storage. Amazfit says that can hold up to 100 hours of podcasts, and lists offline maps as a feature.
- Battery: Amazfit advertises up to 25 days of battery life. That is a maximum manufacturer claim; typical runtime and independent battery results are not established.
Will it fit, and how water-resistant is it?
Amazfit gives the Active Max dimensions as 48.5 × 48.5 × 12.2 mm and its weight as 39.5 g without the strap. Its listed water resistance is 5 ATM. These are manufacturer specifications; consider the case dimensions and strap when judging comfort and fit on your wrist.

Is the Amazfit Active Max worth considering at this price?
At the listed $139.99, the case for considering it is strongest if you want Amazfit’s advertised workout modes and coaching, offline maps, and onboard podcast storage in a watch with a 1.5-inch display. The listing alone cannot establish whether its GPS, heart-rate tracking, or day-to-day battery life will meet your needs, so avoid treating the feature count or maximum battery figure as proof of measured performance. Check the U.S. product page for the current price before buying.
