Anime Zero is in active development, and traits, menus, or rewards may change.

Chance refers to the displayed chance reported for a trait, not a promise about how many rerolls it will take to obtain one. The table does not establish a guaranteed-pity threshold, a fixed number of attempts, or an official probability model. The two traits listed at 0.01% are especially rare according to these guides; the figures alone cannot tell you how much time or how many rerolls you will need.
The displayed chances also make clear that the traits are not equally likely. Deadeye and Supernova are each listed at 0.01%, while Sniper and Ferocity are each listed at 0.04%. By contrast, several starter-tier traits and Fortune are listed above 12%. That helps explain why a specific rare trait may take repeated attempts, but it does not let you predict the outcome of an individual roll. Treat each percentage as a reported chance for that trait, not as a schedule or guarantee.

What is the best trait in Anime Zero?
There is no universal best trait in the reported list. Choose according to the weapon’s intended role and which stat would help that role. Beebom describes Supernova and Deadeye as among the best, but that is an editorial assessment, not an official ranking or a result of independently documented testing.
For general combat
Supernova and Ferocity both combine several combat bonuses. Supernova lists damage, cooldown reduction, attack speed, and the largest listed Walk Speed bonus in the table. Ferocity also combines damage, cooldown reduction, and attack speed, with a smaller Walk Speed bonus. Hunter offers a lower set of bonuses across those same categories. These are combinations to consider when you want more than one combat stat; the guides do not establish that one combination will outperform another in every encounter.
For a direct comparison, Supernova has the larger listed values in each of the shared combat categories: +24% Damage versus Ferocity’s +18%, +12% Cooldown Reduction versus +8%, and +20% Attack Speed versus +14%. It also lists +3 Walk Speed, compared with +2 for Ferocity. Both are reported at 0.01% and 0.04% respectively, so Supernova’s stronger listed package is paired with the lower displayed chance. This is a comparison of the reported numbers, not proof of how either trait performs in a particular mode.
For critical-hit builds
Deadeye increases both Crit Chance and Crit Damage, alongside Damage. Sniper also raises both critical stats and Attack Speed, while Overkill focuses on Crit Damage and Razor Focus on Crit Chance. The useful distinction is which part of your critical-hit setup you want to emphasize: chance to crit, stronger critical hits, or a mix. The table reports bonuses, not how the game calculates their interaction with a particular weapon or build.
Deadeye’s listed +50% Crit Damage is the largest explicit critical-damage bonus in the table; Overkill lists +40%. Deadeye also adds +5% Crit Chance and +20% Damage, whereas Overkill is a focused critical-damage bonus. Sniper instead lists +12% Crit Chance, +15% Crit Damage, and +8% Attack Speed. Razor Focus emphasizes chance with +13% Crit Chance. If you already value one critical stat more than the others, compare those exact bonuses rather than choosing by trait name alone.

For farming, survivability, or a specific stat
Fortune is the resource-oriented option in the list, with bonuses to Coins, EXP, and Drop Rate. Vitality is the listed health option, adding Max Health. If your priority is one specific combat stat, the Power traits add Damage, Swift traits add Attack Speed and Walk Speed, and Focus traits add Cooldown Reduction. The I, II, and III versions show progressively larger listed bonuses within each of those three families; the available information does not establish additional effects beyond the bonuses shown.
Across those tiers, Power I, II, and III list +4%, +6%, and +8% Damage. Swift I, II, and III list +6%, +9%, and +12% Attack Speed, each with +1 Walk Speed. Focus I, II, and III list +4%, +7%, and +10% Cooldown Reduction. These progressions are useful if you are comparing the same stat family, but the guides do not say that higher tiers include hidden effects or explain how the bonuses stack with other equipment.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Use the reported fit column as a starting point, not a strict rule. For instance, a weapon assigned to an ability-focused role may make a Focus trait more relevant to you than a damage-only trait. Before spending a reroll, compare the trait already on the selected weapon with the bonus you are trying to gain. The guide says a reroll replaces the weapon’s current trait, so the decision is not simply whether the new trait sounds strong in isolation.
How to enchant or reroll a weapon
In the guides, “enchanting” means using a Trait Reroll to change a weapon’s trait. The reported route uses the game’s Areas menu and Matilda the Enchanter. Menu names and placement may shift with updates, so follow the labels shown in your current game if they differ.
- Open Areas and travel to the Traits area.
- Find Matilda the Enchanter.
- Use the selection arrows to choose the weapon you intend to change.
- Check the selected weapon’s current trait and your Trait Reroll balance.
- Select Reroll to replace that weapon’s current trait.
Pause at the weapon-selection step: the trait belongs to the selected weapon, and the guide says rerolling replaces its existing trait. Confirm the weapon and current trait before spending the resource. The available information does not give a universal reroll cost, so check the in-game screen for the amount required rather than assuming a fixed price.

The documented requirement for this route is having a Trait Reroll available; the guides do not establish a particular player level, quest unlock, weapon rarity, or other prerequisite. Nor do they report a physical purchase or real-money item needed to enchant. If the NPC, menu, or balance display is different in your current version, use the live in-game instructions rather than relying on an older walkthrough.

How Auto Reroll and Keep Traits work
Auto Reroll is intended to continue rolling until it obtains a trait you have marked to keep. Before starting, open the trait selection or Keep Traits menu and select every result you are willing to keep. Then enable Auto Reroll. Trait History lets you review previous rolls.
- Set the keep list first. Auto Reroll stops when it reaches a selected trait, so an incomplete or mistaken keep selection can cause it to roll past the result you wanted.
- Include only acceptable results. If you mark several traits, the process may stop on any selected trait rather than the one you personally consider best.
- Review Trait History when needed. It provides a way to look back at previous rolls; it does not change the weapon’s current trait.
A sensible setup is to decide in advance which outcomes you would actually keep on that weapon. For a resource-farming weapon, for example, Fortune may be your target; for a critical-focused setup, you might choose an acceptable critical trait. Those are examples of using the keep list, not a guarantee about which result will appear. If you only want one exact trait, select only that trait if the current interface allows it, then verify your selection before enabling the process.
The guides do not specify whether Auto Reroll has additional limits, safeguards, or different behavior under particular game modes. Confirm its current settings in the interface and monitor the process rather than assuming options not described in the game.
How to get more Trait Rerolls
Third-party guides report several possible routes, but exact rewards can change. Beebom names game-mode clears, daily rewards, and active codes. Bloxodes also points to game modes or Story rewards, daily or quest rewards, achievements and milestones, and the in-game Codes menu. These are routes to check, not a guarantee that every activity currently awards rerolls.

- Check rewards after clearing game modes or Story content.
- Look at daily and quest rewards, plus achievements or milestones.
- Check the in-game Codes menu and current official announcements before relying on a code.
The independent Anime Zero Wiki says it has not verified active codes directly from the developer. A code listed elsewhere may have expired or may not be confirmed; test it in the game rather than planning around an unverified reward. Bloxodes also cautions that reward rules may change.
If rerolls are limited, first compare the weapon’s existing trait with your intended goal and decide which outcomes would be worth keeping. A displayed chance is not a promise that a rare result will arrive within a particular number of attempts, and the guides do not list a guaranteed pity mechanic or fixed total cost. Check the current balance and any on-screen cost before you start, especially before enabling Auto Reroll.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to verify after an update
The detailed trait values and reroll instructions come from third-party guides updated October 9, 2026. The independent fan wiki was last checked October 4, 2026, and describes the game as in active development. Since the reviewed sources do not provide an official trait reference, treat the bonuses, chances, menu labels, and reward routes as time-sensitive reports. Check the current in-game trait screen and official announcements for changes before committing rerolls to a specific target.
The guides cross-check the listed trait figures, but neither this comparison nor the wiki provides an official confirmation of the table. In particular, do not read the recommendations as developer rankings or assume a listed chance will remain unchanged after an update. If a current trait screen disagrees with a third-party guide, the in-game information is the practical reference for your present session.
