The 65 locations are spread across four subregions. Anemoculi can be above or below the minimap marker, so check cliffs, rooftops, trees, ruins, and other vertical terrain when one seems close but isn’t visible.

- Under a cliff near Anemo Slimes.
- In mid-air near Starfall Lake, southeast of Stormbearer Mountains.
- Under a tree near the eastern mountain tower.
- Down the northeastern coastline cliffside.
- On a small stone pillar south of the Whispering Woods.
- Between trees along the road toward Mondstadt.
- Under a tree branch southeast of Mondstadt.
- On a ruin wall southwest of the Thousand Winds Temple.
- On the border of the Thousand Winds Temple area.
- Under the southern drop of Starsnatch Cliff.
- On the Nameless Island east of Mondstadt.
- In mid-air between the islands north of Mondstadt.
- North of Mondstadt and northwest of Cider Lake.

How to find nearby Anemoculi
When an Anemoculus is nearby, the game displays its icon on the minimap and plays a sound. The marker may be at a different height from your character, so search above and below it rather than checking only ground level.

For a broader checklist, use HoYoLAB’s Teyvat Interactive Map, the official interactive map. It is a separate tracker, so manually mark each location you have collected. Check that the map is displaying Mondstadt and Anemoculus markers if a location seems missing.
Use an Anemoculus Resonance Stone
- Reach Mondstadt Reputation Level 2 to obtain “Instructions: Anemoculus Resonance Stone.”
- Use the instructions from Inventory → Precious Items to unlock the recipe.
- Craft a stone at an Alchemy crafting station using Dandelion Seed ×5, Cecilia ×5, Crystal Chunk ×1, and Mora ×500.
- Equip it from Inventory → Gadgets or assign it through Gadget Quickswap, then use it to search in Mondstadt.
- Follow the blue circle on the world map. Once inside the search area, use the white directional arrow to tell whether the Anemoculus is above or below you.
A stone is consumed when it successfully detects an Anemoculus; if it finds none, it is not consumed. The search circle can remain after collecting one if another uncollected Anemoculus is still inside. The gadget cannot locate Anemoculi in another player’s world during co-op.

Offer Anemoculi to Mondstadt’s Statues
Complete the world quest “The Blessings of The Seven” before offering Anemoculi. At a Mondstadt Statue of The Seven, choose “Worship Statue” to open the offering screen. It takes 65 offerings to raise the statue from Level 1 to Level 10; the final level requires 15 Anemoculi.

Collecting the 65 overworld Anemoculi is enough to complete the statue and leaves the separate quest-reward Anemoculus unneeded for that collection.
Why are there 66 Anemoculi if the map has 65?
The 65 map locations are all in the overworld. A separate 66th Anemoculus is awarded during “Sparks Amongst the Pages,” in Prologue: Act I — “The Outlander Who Caught the Wind.” It is a quest reward, not a hidden overworld location or an extra Nameless Island marker. After the full collection and statue offerings, one Anemoculus remains in your inventory.

Do Anemoculi respawn?
No. They are fixed overworld collectibles and do not respawn after collection.

Why can’t I see an Anemoculus at the minimap marker?
The collectible may be above or below your position. Check nearby cliffs, trees, rooftops, ledges, and structures, and use the minimap icon and sound as proximity clues.

Does the HoYoLAB map update when I collect an Anemoculus?
No. The interactive map is a separate tracker; mark collected locations manually.

Can I offer the extra quest Anemoculus to a statue?
Anemoculi can be offered to Mondstadt’s Statues of The Seven. The 65 overworld offerings are enough to reach Level 10, so the additional quest reward remains in your inventory after completing the statue.
