Amazon Alexa+ is adding a travel-booking connection with eDreams ODIGEO. The companies say users will be able to search for and book flights, hotels and car rentals through a natural-language conversation. The rollout is expected in the coming weeks, but there is no confirmed public launch date or list of launch markets.
What the Alexa+ and eDreams partnership will let you do
eDreams ODIGEO announced the collaboration on 7 October 2026, describing Alexa+ as a new voice-first channel for travel discovery and booking. The company’s announcement names three bookable categories: flights, hotels and car rentals. eDreams ODIGEO’s announcement says customers will be able to ask for trips that match their preferences and receive relevant options in the conversation.

T3’s 8 October report also lists packages and rail. Those categories have not been included in eDreams ODIGEO’s own enumerated list, so they should be treated as reported possibilities—not confirmed launch inventory. Neither source establishes that every part of a trip can be booked in one request.
How the conversational booking flow is supposed to work
The companies describe an integration based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). In practical terms, Alexa+ can use the connection to query eDreams ODIGEO’s travel platform and bring relevant options into the conversation. The intended flow is to describe what you want in ordinary language, review the options Alexa+ returns, and proceed with a booking. The precise prompts, confirmation screens and reservation-management features have not been detailed.

eDreams ODIGEO says it will manage supplier integrations, IATA licensing, financial guarantees and round-the-clock customer support. T3 additionally describes the company as merchant of record for completed transactions. That makes eDreams ODIGEO the travel provider involved in fulfilling and supporting bookings; Alexa+ is the conversational access point.
When it will be available—and what is still unknown
T3 reports that rollout is expected in the coming weeks, but neither report gives a specific public launch date or identifies the first countries. The sources also do not specify the travel integration’s supported languages, its pricing, or whether packages and rail will be bookable at launch. Availability should therefore be understood as forthcoming and market-dependent, not as a feature already available to every Alexa+ user.

T3 says the broader eDreams platform covers more than 40,000 destinations and nearly 700 airlines across 44 countries. Those are figures for the company’s platform as reported by T3; they do not confirm which destinations, airlines or other inventory Alexa+ will surface when the integration launches. T3 also reports that eDreams makes more than six billion online predictions daily. That is the company’s prediction-volume claim, not evidence of booking accuracy or a particular customer outcome.

An eligible Echo is one possible way to access Alexa+, but it is not necessarily the only one. Amazon says Alexa+ is also available through the Alexa app and browser in supported markets. Access rules vary by country and device: in participating Early Access markets, Amazon describes access through a new eligible Echo or by registering an existing compatible device for an invite. Check the local Amazon Alexa+ availability page for current eligibility rather than assuming a particular Echo model, app account or subscription qualifies.

How this differs from Alexa+’s Expedia connection
Amazon has separately announced an Expedia integration focused on finding, comparing, booking and managing hotel stays through Expedia’s lodging inventory. That is a narrower stated category scope than eDreams ODIGEO’s announced flights, hotels and car rentals. The two connections are distinct; the announcement does not establish that they share inventory, booking terms or support arrangements. T3 also names Priceline, Viator and Virgin Atlantic among early Alexa+ travel partners, but their presence does not mean they offer the same trip categories or booking flow.
There is not yet a basis to rank these services on price, inventory quality or booking experience. The eDreams integration has not been documented with an independent booking test, and the announced scope alone does not show which option will suit a particular trip.
