Integrated grinding
The built-in grinder can simplify a home setup and avoids buying a separate grinder to get started. In exchange, grind adjustment is limited to the 15 listed steps. If you want very precise adjustment between settings or already own a grinder you prefer, the integrated design may be less compelling.

It directs users to use a commercially available descaling agent, then run clean water through the machine for a second cycle and make sure the water is completely clean before brewing, dispensing water or using the steam wand.
