How much free space should you have?
Have 100 GB free to match the Steam listing. “100 GB available” is a free-space requirement; it does not mean the installed game will take exactly 100 GB, nor does it establish how much space will remain afterward.

NCSoft’s Korean-language regional download page gives a different figure: more than 70 GB may be needed for the initial installation. That is an initial-installation estimate from a regional page, not a universal download-size figure. The pages do not state one measured final installed size or a compressed download size, so do not treat either number as an exact final footprint.

What the FHD preset notes mean
At FHD resolution, the listings pair the minimum tier with the Very Low preset and the recommended tier with Low. Treat these as preset guidance, not a performance guarantee: the listings do not promise a particular frame rate or account for every PC configuration.

How the PC installation works
NCSoft says to install AION 2 on PC through the PURPLE client. Its regional download page lists PURPLE for Windows at approximately 8.7 MB before installation and 1.27 GB after installation. Those numbers describe the launcher, not the AION 2 game files, and should be kept separate from the game’s storage requirement.

- Confirm DirectX 12 support and broadband internet access.
- Free 100 GB of storage to match Steam’s listing, and use an SSD if possible, as recommended by Steam and NCSoft.
