The box makes this route a practical target when you meet its access requirements and want a direct Manastone reward. The guide recommends using Lesser Manastones and Lesser Soulstones early, because early equipment is replaced quickly, and avoiding repeated stone rerolls at that stage.

Aion 2 Maps lists Transcendence, Sanctuary, the Abyss, and other content as Manastone sources. Its source list does not provide exact farming locations or comparative rates for those activities, so use it as a menu of reported source categories—not a ranked route or a guarantee of a particular drop. How to obtain higher-grade stones through Alchemy
Crafting may be an option if you have the materials, but the available recipe information has an important limitation: AION2 Hub identifies its listing as Global Launch Scale Test client data dated September 19, 2026, and says recipe contents are not yet in client data. It lists an Intermediate Manastone recipe at Alchemy level 20 as follows; this is a database listing, not confirmation that the recipe is currently live in Global:

Choose a route by access, cost, and gear lifespan
The available sources do not establish a numeric efficiency comparison between farming activities and crafting. A useful decision is to compare how directly a route awards a stone or box, whether you meet its requirements, what materials or currency it consumes, and whether the stone’s grade is worth putting into gear you expect to keep.

- Newer character meeting the requirements: Ascension Trail has the clearest specific early route in the cited player guide: three clears toward the Manastone Stone Box.
- Considering other content: Transcendence, Sanctuary, and the Abyss are listed as source categories, but exact locations and relative yields are not specified.
- Considering a craft: The listed Intermediate recipe requires Alchemy level 20 and the ingredients above, but its status as test-client data means it should not be assumed current for live Global.
Socket stones with equipment replacement in mind
Aion 2 Maps says Manastones are used in weapons and armor, while Soulstones go in accessories. Its guide warns that stones do not survive gear transfer and recommends saving substantial investment for equipment you expect to keep. Together with the early progression guide’s warning that equipment is replaced quickly, that makes low-grade stones the more sensible early choice than repeated rerolls or costly socketing on temporary gear. What the published odds do—and do not—tell you
Odds depend on the stone and stat. Aion 2 Maps summarizes NCSoft’s Korea probability disclosure, version 20260922200504, updated September 23, 2026. For the best non-Abyss stone, it reports a 1.5% chance per stone for top-tier Attack +10 and a 0.075% chance per stone for top-tier Damage Boost +100. The same note reports five damage lines with chances of 0.25%, 0.175%, and 0.075% across basic, high, and top tiers. The exact conversion of those damage stats into character-sheet percentage is creator advice or inference, not a figure stated by the probability disclosure. The note says its Global checks used launch-client data dated September 28, 2026, and that it had not found a separate published Global probability disclosure. Do not use the Korea figures as a substitute for confirmed Global odds.
