Global layout and readability
The official feature notice lists grid spacing, UI scale, and chat font size among the editor’s controls. A September 2026 guide gives more specific options: outer margin (None, Narrow, or Wide), grid preview (Dense or Wide), snapping (on or off), UI proportion (five sizes from Smaller to Larger), and chat font size (Normal, Medium, or Extra Large). Move, hide, select, and group elements
Drag interface elements to reposition them. The official notice also documents hiding or showing elements, selecting multiple elements, and grouping or ungrouping them. Resize or change direction only where supported
Some elements offer additional size, height, or direction controls; that does not mean every HUD element can be resized. The community guide identifies the minimap, mini chat, and quest/content notifications as resizable. It also describes reversing the direction or order of the player’s HP/MP gauges and the buff/debuff UI. Select a panel and inspect its available controls before trying to change its dimensions. A practical workflow for arranging your HUD
- Open the editor: On PC, press Escape and choose Edit HUD near the Settings gear, as reported by the independent guide. Follow the live client’s labels if they differ.
- Set the grid and overall scale: Choose a grid preview, margin, and snapping behavior, then adjust UI proportion and chat font size to suit your screen.
- Move or select elements: Drag panels into place. For batch changes, try a selection rectangle or Ctrl-click, as described by the community guide.
- Check panel-specific controls: Select an individual panel to see whether it supports resizing, height changes, or direction adjustments.
- Hide what you do not need: Toggle visibility for elements you want off-screen; the community guide reports that visibility changes apply after saving and exiting.
- Save and verify: Save the arrangement and inspect it in normal gameplay. The official notice says settings are stored per character on the client.
Presets, import, export, undo, and reset
The September 2026 independent guide reports four preset slots, saving an arrangement to the active preset, loading layouts from imported code or files, exporting code or files, and using Undo or Reset. These workflow details are not confirmed in the indexed official feature notice. Check the current editor’s labels and options before relying on a particular preset count or import/export method.
