The Daevanion board is a connected-node system: reaching a reward also means paying for the nodes along the route. Current global board details are not confirmed by an official mechanics reference in the available sources, so treat reported unlock levels, layouts, and crystal quantities as provisional and verify them in your game client.
How the Daevanion board works
The board links nodes that grant stats, skill levels, or special effects. You choose a path through connected nodes, so a destination’s cost is not just the cost shown on that reward: prerequisite nodes along the way also consume currency. The Aion 2 Hub planner describes adjacency-based unlocking as an inference, while recent guides also describe connected pathing; use the live board’s own unlock indicators as the authority for your character.

Recent guides describe five boards: four PvE boards—Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, and Triniel—using Daevanion Crystals, and Azphel as a PvP board using separate Battle Crystals. A guide updated October 4, 2026 reports unlock levels of 12, 20, 30, 40, and 45 respectively, but those are guide-reported global-client figures, not confirmed official values. Check the current board screen for unlock requirements and the currency it accepts.

How to get Daevanion Crystals
Recent guides and datamine-based summaries report these source categories for Daevanion Crystals:
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Leveling: some crystal rewards are associated with character progression.
- Regional quests: check quest rewards as you advance through regions.
- Sealed dungeons: guides list these among the reported sources.
- Nightmare shop: one guide reports a shop source; availability and limits should be checked in-client.
The sources do not establish reliable current global totals, shop limits, or every eligibility rule. Treat the categories as leads, not a guaranteed character-wide amount. Open the relevant reward and shop listings in your own client to confirm what is available, how much it grants, and whether it can be claimed again.
What should I spend Daevanion Crystals on first?
For a PvE build, recent guide advice favors offensive special nodes and active-skill upgrades before less relevant nodes. There is no documented, controlled comparison showing a universal best path; the right choice depends on your class, frequently used skills, and whether your priority is PvE or PvP.

- Offensive special nodes: prioritize effects that support your main damage goal and are accessible at a reasonable total path cost.
- Active skills: take upgrades for skills you actually use in your rotation or build, rather than spending first on an irrelevant skill.
- Passives: follow with passive effects that meaningfully fit your character and intended content.
- Ordinary stats: take useful stat nodes or nodes required to reach a chosen reward; compare their value with the full cost of the route.
For PvP, reassess the plan around the PvP board and its reported separate Battle Crystal currency. A PvE-first priority order is not automatically suitable for a PvP objective.

A practical progression route
- Confirm the board and currency. In the current client, open the board you intend to progress and verify whether it accepts Daevanion Crystals or the separate Battle Crystals reported for Azphel.
- Set the goal before spending. Decide whether you are building for PvE or PvP, then identify the special effect or skill upgrade that supports that goal.
- Trace the connected route. Follow the board’s visible connections toward the target and account for every required node, not only the destination reward.
- Choose skill nodes by use. Prefer active-skill upgrades relevant to your build and frequently used skills; consider matching passives after the key offensive and skill choices.
- Fill only useful or necessary stat nodes. Spend on ordinary stats when their benefit is relevant or they are prerequisites for a higher-priority node.
- Check the live cost and refund rules. Confirm the total currency required and any reset or refund terms shown in your client before committing. Available guides do not establish a definitive current global refund policy.
How to compare two possible routes
| Decision | What to compare |
|---|---|
| PvE or PvP | Whether the board and currency match your goal; recent guides report separate PvP currency for Azphel. |
| Special effect or skill level | Whether the special-node effect or the skill upgrade contributes more to the build you actually play. The available guides do not provide controlled performance comparisons. |
| Build relevance | How often you use the affected skill and whether the node’s effect suits your class and intended content. |
| Short route or deep reward | The total cost of all connected prerequisite nodes against the benefit of the destination reward. |
Why not copy a route from another region?
Several recent guides warn that Asian-client figures or layouts may not match the global version, and one notes that global board geometry differs from Asian layouts. Some published totals are datamined or estimated rather than verified in a live global client. Use those guides for broad priorities, but do not assume their diagrams, crystal totals, or exact node costs apply to your character. Check the actual connections and costs displayed in your current game.
