Addigy announced its Intelligence Suite on September 17, 2026, adding AI-assisted search, scripting, reporting and AI-tool controls to its Apple device management platform. Addigy describes it as an integrated layer rather than a separate console. The announcement is not confirmed as the subject of an Apple @ Work podcast episode: the located Apple Podcasts listing is for a different, 2025 episode.
What Addigy announced
The Intelligence Suite is intended to let IT administrators use plain-language requests to find information about managed Apple devices, prepare management tasks and generate reports. Addigy says administrators can review and approve proposed actions before they run, and that its platform works from live device state and executes approved changes in real time. Those are the company’s descriptions of product behavior, not independently verified performance findings.

Addigy CTO and founder Jason Dettbarn described the workflow this way: “With Addigy Intelligence Suite, they describe the outcome they want in plain language, review the proposed action, and approve it before anything runs.”

| Capability | What Addigy says it does |
|---|---|
| Smart Filters | Build device filters using plain-language descriptions and inspect device state. |
| Script Assist | Draft, refine and audit scripts. Addigy says sensitive values are removed before Script Assist makes model calls. |
| Generative Reports | Describe a report in natural language; Addigy says it is populated with real device data, not AI-generated device values. |
| AI Controls | Apply policies to manage AI tools on managed devices. Addigy’s support FAQ says this control feature does not itself use AI to process customer data. |
| Addigy MCP | Connect external agents to Addigy’s management control plane. Addigy says access is bounded by permissions and API credentials. |
Addigy also describes an AI Compliance Benchmark with “30+ controls.” That count is a vendor-stated feature description, not an independently audited figure.

How Addigy describes approval and data handling
Addigy says AI-proposed actions require human approval and use the customer’s existing permissions. This is important because an AI interface can make management tasks easier to initiate, but it does not remove the need to control who can access devices or authorize changes.
On data handling, Addigy says the suite runs through its AWS infrastructure, accesses third-party models through AWS, does not send device data to model providers for training, and does not retain request data after a request completes. These are company statements; the available sources do not independently verify the security architecture. The description should not be read as meaning that no third-party model is involved.

Availability and launch-period terms
Addigy’s launch blog said existing customers could access the suite for free through October 31, 2026. At announcement, packaging was still being finalized, and Addigy said customers would not be automatically converted or billed. Its support FAQ says customers need to opt in. These are time-sensitive launch terms; customers should check Addigy’s current information and their account before relying on them.

What the announcement does—and does not—establish
Addigy positions the suite around questions such as which AI tools are approved in an environment, what is currently true about managed Macs, and how to carry out a desired management task. Its feature set spans device search, script assistance, reporting, AI governance and integrations for external agents. The announcement establishes Addigy’s intended product direction, but it does not provide a complete independent comparison with other Apple device management platforms or evidence that the suite is faster or more secure than alternatives.

Addigy published a customer testimonial from CreativeTechs CEO and founder Tim Pearson, who said: “Using Addigy Intelligence Suite, I was able to get to a client-facing security risk plan in an hour—something that used to take my team 1 to 2 business days.” This is a customer-reported experience published by the vendor, not a controlled or independently verified measure of typical time savings.

The available listing does not substantiate a podcast episode about the Intelligence Suite announcement. Apple Podcasts lists “Building your fleet for compliance,” an episode published September 23, 2025, featuring Dettbarn and discussing Apple IT compliance. That predates the September 2026 launch and is a separate episode.
