To add a PayPal button to a manual-mode website, create the button with PayPal, copy its integration code, then place that code in an Embed code element on the page and publish the site. Use the page embed for the button itself; code intended for the page’s <head> belongs in a separate custom-code setting.
Add the PayPal button to a page

In PayPal’s button workflow, create the button you need and copy its integration code. PayPal’s button guide is available at PayPal’s buttons page. The exact creation-screen labels and options are not established here, so follow the interface PayPal currently shows for your account.

Open the manual-mode website editor and add an Embed code element in the location where you want the button to appear.

Select the element, choose Enter code, and paste the integration code copied from PayPal.

Update the website to publish the change. The builder’s instructions say the button is live after the site is updated.
The button code comes from PayPal; the website builder provides the place to embed it. If the button does not appear where expected, check that you added an Embed code element to the intended page location and published the update.

Use the right code field
For a visible payment button placed in the page body, use the Embed code element. Code that belongs in the page <head> goes in the site’s Custom code field under integrations settings instead. These controls serve different purposes; the PayPal button procedure uses the body embed.

A standalone button and a store payment integration are separate workflows. An embedded button adds a payment action at a chosen page location. A store integration configures PayPal as a payment method in the online store’s checkout.

The builder’s help information says its store integration supports 25 currencies and more than 200 countries, but the retrieved article gives no publication year. These are general claims from the builder’s documentation, not confirmation that a particular account or region is eligible. Check availability for your account, country, currency, and required payment methods before choosing a setup.
The builder’s help article also lists PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo, and major credit or debit cards as possible payment methods for PayPal buttons. That list is not a guarantee that every method is available to every seller or buyer; eligibility can depend on region and account circumstances.
