NanoReview reports averages of 3,970 single-core and 10,558 multi-core for A19 Pro, versus 2,755 and 7,563 for Tensor G6. Those are submitted samples, not a controlled test of matched phones, so they show a CPU benchmark advantage in this dataset—not that A19 Pro wins every task or that one phone is faster in every respect.
Geekbench 6: A19 Pro leads the listed CPU samples
NanoReview’s comparison lists the following Geekbench 6 CPU results, based on samples submitted to that site:

| Chip | Single-core | Multi-core | Samples listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Tensor G6 | 2,755 | 7,563 | 6 |
| Apple A19 Pro | 3,970 | 10,558 | 16 |
Using those averages, NanoReview describes A19 Pro as 44% ahead in single-core and 40% ahead in multi-core. The sample counts are unequal, and the figures are not from identical phones tested with matched operating-system builds, cooling, workloads and conditions. Treat them as a snapshot of the page’s listed samples, not fixed specifications for every device.

What the listed specifications say
NanoReview lists Tensor G6 as a seven-core chip and A19 Pro as a six-core chip. It gives these CPU configurations and graphics descriptions:
#1 Best Overall
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
| Specification listed by NanoReview | Tensor G6 | A19 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| CPU configuration | 1 × 4.11 GHz C1-Ultra; 4 × 3.38 GHz C1-Pro; 2 × 2.65 GHz C1-Pro | 2 × 4.26 GHz; 4 × 2.6 GHz Apple cores |
| Process | 3 nm | 3 nm |
| Graphics | PowerVR CXTP-48-1536 | Apple-designed GPU |
These are secondary-source specifications; the listed core details should not be mistaken for official vendor specifications. Core counts and clock speeds alone also cannot establish which chip is faster across different workloads.
Why the other benchmark figures need more caution
AnTuTu 11
NanoReview lists AnTuTu 11 scores of 1,933,536 for Tensor G6, from four samples, and 2,538,751 for A19 Pro, from 23 samples. The comparison page explicitly warns that AnTuTu results from Android and iOS are not directly comparable. These numbers therefore do not establish a precise overall performance lead.

GPU tests
The comparison page shows no Tensor G6 result for its 3DMark Steel Nomad Light or Solar Bay comparison. It also cautions that its Geekbench GPU compute results use different APIs—Metal versus Vulkan/OpenCL—so they are not directly comparable. The available figures do not support a reliable cross-chip GPU ranking.
What Google says Tensor G6 is designed to improve
Google announced Tensor G6 on August 12, 2026, as the chip for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. The company says the chip runs its latest Gemini Nano model and is designed to support Pixel AI and camera features. Google reports an upgraded CPU for 25% faster web browsing and 15% quicker app launches, and 50% more TPU compute. For on-device AI tasks using the stated Gemini Nano framing, Google claims up to 3.5 times faster processing while using up to 3.5 times less energy. These are Google’s claims against its stated baseline and workloads, not direct A19 Pro comparisons. Google’s Pixel 11 announcement also mentions camera capabilities such as faster Night Sight capture; that is a feature claim, not a general-purpose benchmark.

Generation context: A19 Pro is no longer Apple’s newest Pro chip
Apple introduced A20 Pro with the iPhone 18 Pro in September 2026. Apple says A20 Pro has 50% more memory bandwidth and a GPU design up to 40% faster than A19 Pro. Those are Apple’s own generational claims, not an A20 Pro-versus-Tensor G6 test. The Apple iPhone comparison page lists A19 Pro among iPhone Pro specifications; the iPhone 18 Pro announcement provides Apple’s A20 Pro claims.

If you mean the CPU results shown in NanoReview’s current Geekbench 6 samples, A19 Pro is ahead in both single-core and multi-core. If you mean gaming, sustained performance, battery life or the quality of on-device AI, the available evidence does not establish a universal winner. Google’s published AI and efficiency figures refer to selected tasks and its stated comparisons; they do not settle how long a complete phone lasts on a charge.

For a useful real-world comparison, assess the actual phones as well as their chips. Cooling, power limits, software, display, camera and battery implementation all shape the experience. A controlled comparison would need matched retail devices, defined software versions and workloads, sustained testing, comparable GPU APIs and measured power use. The cited benchmark snapshot does not provide that same-method A19 Pro-versus-Tensor G6 suite.
Tensor G6 is part of the Pixel 11 family, while A19 Pro appears in Apple’s iPhone Pro lineup. A phone choice should therefore account for the full device and its features rather than treating a chip score as a complete verdict.
