For a short Idle Huntress promotional code, open Events > Mysterious Code, enter it as published, and claim the reward. The separate profile/settings route is for 14-digit codes; using that field for a short code can cause confusion. The game-specific directions come from a third-party guide and older community information, so check the labels in your current game version if they differ.
How to redeem a short Mysterious Code

A June 2022 community announcement described the route as “Event->Mysterious Code->input the code and claim your rewards.” Its example code, IHUNTRESS, expired on July 31, 2022, and was limited to one redemption per player; it is not a current code. See the historical announcement.
Why does Idle Huntress ask for a 14-digit code?
The short Mysterious Code route and the 14-digit code route are separate. A guide describes the 14-digit option under profile/settings, while short promotional codes go through Events > Mysterious Code. If the screen requires 14 digits but your code is shorter, return to Events and look for Mysterious Code rather than trying to alter the code. Fix an invalid or nonexistent code error
1. Check that you are using the right field
Use Events > Mysterious Code for a short code. The profile/settings route is described for 14-digit codes, not short promotional codes.
2. Check whether the offer has expired or was already used
Promotional codes can carry their own end dates and redemption limits. For example, the June 2022 IHUNTRESS announcement specified a July 31, 2022 expiry and one redemption per player; those terms applied to that offer, not necessarily to other codes.

3. Recheck every character and its capitalization
Copy the code carefully, including uppercase and lowercase letters. A March 2023 community discussion reported case sensitivity, but that is dated player reporting rather than confirmation of a current rule for every code. Read the discussion.
4. Treat reports of game-side errors as historical, not proof of a current outage
Players in a 2023 discussion mentioned configuration errors and a maintenance fix. That report does not establish an ongoing problem. If a code otherwise appears valid and the correct field still rejects it, retry later and check current in-game announcements before assuming there is a known bug. The discussion is here.

5. Contact the listed support address if the problem persists
BluStar Games Limited’s Apple App Store and Google Play listings provide [email protected] as a support contact. Include the code name, the exact error text, your game version, and a screenshot to make the issue easier to investigate; the listings do not specify these as required materials. A Pocket Gamer roundup updated September 6, 2026 lists codes with a May 31 validity date. That date had passed by October 4, 2026, so the roundup does not establish that those codes were still active then.
