First try Android’s built-in Capture more feature: take a screenshot, tap Capture more, then adjust the crop guides. Google says it works on Android 12 and up on most screens that allow scrolling, but availability depends on the app and page. If it is missing or cannot capture the page you need, LongShot is suited to stitching screen frames while you scroll; Web2Pics focuses on full-page capture in its own browser.
Choose the capture method that fits the page

These descriptions reflect Google Play listing claims checked October 3, 2026; they are not independent reliability tests. The best choice depends on whether Capture more appears for your target page, whether you need a browser-rendered webpage or a stitched screen recording, and what export and privacy options matter to you.
Use Android’s built-in Capture more
- Open the webpage or other scrollable screen.
- Press Power and Volume down together to take a screenshot.
- Tap Capture more at the bottom of the screen.
- Adjust the crop guides to include the content you want, then save the capture.
Google documents this workflow for Android 12 and up on most scrollable screens. If Capture more does not appear, or the page stops extending where you need it, use an app that supports the content and workflow you need rather than assuming every Android screen supports long capture. Google’s instructions and qualification.
LongShot: capture while you scroll
LongShot is the more general screen-capture option of the two apps here. Its Google Play listing describes stitching frames as the user scrolls, for webpages as well as chats, feeds and other screen content. It lists Android 8.0 or later and says the app has no internet permission; those are developer-provided listing statements, not an independent audit.

- Start a capture, then scroll down steadily so the app can stitch the frames.
- Review the result and use its editing or export options. Its listing describes PNG images and multi-page PDF export.
LongShot limits to account for
- Fast flicks can skip content; scroll at a steady pace.
- Video can leave seams in the stitched result. Pause it if you need a cleaner capture.
- If the app indicates that the page was lost, scroll back and resume more carefully.
- Protected content may appear black.
- The listing says its text-recognition tools support Latin script only.
The listing declared no data collected or shared, no ads and no in-app purchases when checked October 3, 2026. It also showed 1K+ downloads and 5.0 stars from 64 reviews and said it was updated October 1, 2026. Store ratings and download ranges are volatile snapshots, not evidence of capture quality. Web2Pics: capture a webpage in its browser
Web2Pics is aimed specifically at webpages. Its listing describes opening a URL in an in-app browser, then capturing the full page, a scrolling page or a selected area. It also lists editing, annotation, image-quality controls, and options to blur or pixelate sensitive areas. Sticky-header, footer and cookie-banner removal are advertised; check the output on your own page because behavior may vary.
- Open the app’s browser and enter the webpage URL.
- Choose full-page, scrolling or selected-area capture according to what you need.
- Review the image and use the editing or annotation tools if needed.
- Before keeping or sharing the capture, verify that it contains the intended content and that any sensitive details are handled appropriately.
Web2Pics’ Google Play listing declared ads and in-app purchases and said it may collect or share location, personal information and other data types. Review the listing’s current disclosures and permissions before installing. On October 3, 2026, the listing showed 10K+ downloads, 4.4 stars from 169 reviews, and an update date of August 3, 2026; these are changeable store snapshots, not independent measures of reliability. Check privacy and the finished capture
A screenshot can preserve information that later changes or disappears, so check both the app’s current disclosures and the image itself before sharing or relying on it as a record.
- Confirm the current Google Play data-safety details, permissions, ads and purchase disclosures rather than relying on an older listing snapshot.
- Inspect the top, middle and bottom of a long capture for missing sections, duplicate strips, seams or unwanted browser controls.
- Blur or pixelate personal details before sharing if the app provides that option; do not assume a capture app has removed every sensitive element.
- If a page contains protected material, expect that the phone or app may prevent a usable capture.
Troubleshooting incomplete or poor captures
Capture more is missing
Google only documents the feature for Android 12 and up on most scrollable screens. Confirm the device version and try another capture method if the page or app does not offer the control.

LongShot has gaps or seams
Scroll steadily instead of flicking quickly. Pause video during capture, and if the page is reported lost, scroll back and continue at a slower pace. A protected screen may remain black rather than produce a usable image.
Web2Pics output does not match the page
Check the page in the app’s browser and inspect the captured area. Try a different capture mode, such as selected-area instead of full-page, and verify how sticky elements or cookie banners appear on that specific site before using the image as a record.
