The Streamlabs App Store is a catalog inside Streamlabs Desktop where you can find, install, manage, and add third-party apps to your scenes. It is not a general app marketplace, and Streamlabs says App Store apps are currently available only in Desktop. Widgets are a separate category: most can also be used with the Streamlabs Plugin for OBS.
What is the Streamlabs App Store?
Streamlabs describes the App Store as a built-in library of apps from third-party developers. The catalog is intended to extend a streaming workflow with tools for audience interaction, on-screen design, automation, analytics, and other tasks. Streamlabs calls the library “dozens” of apps; that is a qualitative description, not a fixed count, and the live catalog is the place to check current listings.
Streamlabs says its team reviews apps for functionality and safety before they are listed. That review does not make every app a Streamlabs-built feature: apps are third-party tools, and their availability and terms can differ.
What kinds of apps are available?
Streamlabs gives examples across several creator needs. These are illustrative categories, not a guarantee that every category has a current listing.

How to find and install an app
- Install Streamlabs Desktop. Download Desktop from Streamlabs and sign in as needed.
- Open the App Store. In Desktop, select App Store from the navigation. Streamlabs says the store and installed apps can be pinned in Desktop navigation.
- Choose an app. Browse the catalog and read the listing for its purpose, access terms, and any app-specific requirements.
- Install and use it. Select the app’s install option. Manage installed apps in Desktop and add an app source to a scene when the app supports that workflow.
Streamlabs says cloud storage can carry apps to a new PC. That statement is not a guarantee that every third-party app’s settings or data are stored in the cloud, so check the individual app before relying on a seamless move.
Are App Store apps free?
Access is mixed. Streamlabs names Sponsorships and Sidekick as examples of free apps and says most apps are exclusive to Streamlabs Ultra. Its Ultra onboarding guide also describes App Store access as an Ultra benefit. Do not assume every app is free or that every app requires Ultra: check the current listing and its terms. Streamlabs’ cited pages do not establish a subscription price here.

What does “integrations” mean outside the App Store?
Streamlabs uses integrations in other products too, but they are not automatically App Store apps. For example, Talk Studio’s documentation describes integrations for Cloudbot moderation, tipping, alerts, and live chat widgets. Its setup guide covers the studio’s Apps button, Streamlabs connections, tip methods, and Alert Box customization. Those instructions apply to Talk Studio, not to installing a Desktop App Store app.
Can developers submit an app?
Streamlabs directs prospective App Store developers to its platform site. The described route is to log in with Twitch, create an app, submit the application form, and wait for next steps. Streamlabs says listed apps undergo review before they are made available.

API application registration is a separate process, not a shortcut to App Store placement. Streamlabs’ registration page is marked for API v1.0 and points readers to v2.0 documentation; registering an API application does not establish App Store approval.
