Streamlabs Mobile Collab Cam lets you add a remote guest—or, on Android, another camera angle—to a mobile livestream. Set up a scene, add a guest layer, share its invite link, and preview the layout before going live. A guest can also join after your stream has started.
What Collab Cam does on Streamlabs Mobile
Collab Cam brings a guest’s camera feed into a Streamlabs Mobile scene on iOS or Android. The host creates a guest layer and shares a generated join link; the guest chooses their preferences and taps Join. The host can preview the feed, position it, and adjust guest audio and camera settings. Streamlabs describes Mobile Collab Cam as free. The official guide was published September 21, 2023, and lists December 9, 2025, as its last update: Streamlabs Mobile Collab Cam Guide.
Set up Collab Cam on iPhone or iPad
- Open Streamlabs Mobile and tap the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner.
- Tap Scenes, then Create New Scene.
- Name the scene and choose a premade or custom layout. The Streamlabs walkthrough uses a custom blank layout.
- Open Layers, tap the plus button, and choose Add a Guest.
- Enter the guest’s name and save.
- Share the generated guest join link. Ask the guest to select their preferences when prompted and tap the green Join button.
- In the scene editor, adjust the guest video’s placement. Tap the gear icon for guest audio and camera settings, link-copy controls, and the option to generate a new link.
- Tap Preview to check the guest’s camera feed. Return to the app home screen and start your stream when the scene looks right.
You can also add a guest after the stream is already underway; you do not need to end the broadcast first.
Set up Collab Cam on Android
- Open the main menu and tap Scenes, then Create a New Scene. If you do not see Scenes, choose Go to Advanced Settings, tap Continue, then create a scene.
- Name the scene and choose a premade or custom layout.
- Open Layers and tap Add layer.
- Choose Add a Guest to invite someone, or Add a Camera to use your phone’s front or back camera as another angle.
- For a guest, enter a name and tap Add. Save the camera settings. The guest or camera feed will appear among the scene layers.
- Adjust the feed’s size and placement in the scene.
- To invite a guest, tap their camera in the scene, open its settings with the gear icon, then copy the invite link or generate a new one. Set the available audio and camera options as needed.
Can a guest join after you go live?
Yes. Streamlabs’ Mobile guide says a guest can join either before the broadcast begins or while it is in progress. Create the guest layer and share its join link; once the guest joins, check the feed and placement in your scene.

Limits and practical checks
- Guest count: Streamlabs’ Mobile guide does not state a guest limit. The separate overview’s figures for one free guest and up to 11 guests with Ultra refer to Desktop Collab Cam, not Mobile; do not assume those are Mobile limits. See Streamlabs Collab Cam overview.
- Device and operating-system requirements: The Mobile guide covers iOS and Android but does not list minimum OS versions, a compatibility list, bandwidth thresholds, or supported external peripherals. Streamlabs’ general Mobile Live Streaming Guide covers mobile scene setup and camera/audio controls, but does not establish Collab Cam-specific hardware requirements.
- Link access: The Mobile guide documents copying or regenerating the guest link. Streamlabs’ separate Desktop guidance advises sharing links only with trusted people and regenerating a leaked link; that safety recommendation is documented for Desktop Collab Cam, not specifically Mobile.
