Be.Live can put a prerecorded clip into an active YouTube live show, but its documented workflow does not establish automatic, unattended playback of a full recording at a scheduled time. You connect your YouTube channel, add an MP4 clip or a YouTube video link in Be.Live, then start the show and bring the clip on screen when you are ready. The detailed clip instructions were published in 2020, so check the current Be.Live studio for interface and file-limit changes before relying on them.
First, choose the right kind of video experience
- Clip during a live show: Be.Live documents adding an edited clip to a host-led YouTube broadcast, or sharing a video from YouTube by URL. You can introduce the clip and return to the live discussion afterward.
- Offline Recording: Be.Live uses this name for recording a broadcast without going live, for future use or audio download. It is not a way to send an existing recording to YouTube as a live feed.
- Scheduled broadcast: Scheduling creates an announcement in advance; it does not mean the prerecorded video starts automatically. Be.Live says you must start the broadcast manually.
If your goal is to show a complete prerecorded video as a viewing event, that is different from inserting a clip into a host-led live show. The Be.Live sources covered here do not establish the current YouTube Premiere setup, so do not treat the steps below as Premiere instructions.
Check YouTube live eligibility and prepare
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the prior 90 days. Its Help page also sets the minimum age for live streaming at 16. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.
Be.Live’s YouTube setup guide lists a desktop or laptop, current Chrome or Safari, stable internet, headphones, a verified YouTube channel and a webcam. A webcam is relevant if you plan to appear on camera; it is not inherently necessary just to play a clip. Be.Live’s guide was updated two years before it was accessed in 2026, so browser and setup details may have changed. See Be.Live’s YouTube setup guide.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Connect YouTube in Be.Live
- Open the Be.Live studio and choose Set Destination.
- Select YouTube, then connect the Google account that owns or manages the channel.
- Authorize the requested access, choose the broadcast visibility—Public, Private or Unlisted—and enter the title and description.
- Save the destination. Be.Live’s published workflow describes these settings; the current labels may differ from the guide.
Public broadcasts can be discoverable. Unlisted broadcasts are accessible to people with the link and are not ordinarily shown in YouTube search; Private broadcasts restrict access. Choose the audience setting deliberately, especially before sharing a scheduled link.
Add and play the recorded clip
- Prepare the clip. Be.Live’s May 7, 2020 article specifies an edited MP4 for upload. It states a maximum size of 100 MB; because this limit is from an older article, confirm the current limit in Be.Live before exporting or uploading.
- Upload or use a YouTube URL. The article describes uploading the clip to Be.Live’s media lobby, or sharing a video hosted on YouTube through its URL option. The controls and availability may have changed since publication.
- Start the live show. Once the YouTube destination is connected and the show is live, push the clip to the stream when you want it to play. Keep the studio open to introduce the segment and resume the live portion as needed.
For a scheduled broadcast, scheduling is only an advance announcement: you still have to start the show yourself. Be.Live’s FAQ says to start within 10 minutes after the scheduled time or the platform may delete the scheduled broadcast. Treat that as Be.Live’s stated guidance, not a YouTube-wide rule. Be.Live also estimates channel verification takes 24 hours; that is its estimate, not a guaranteed YouTube processing time. See Be.Live’s FAQ and destination guidance.

Keep the clip and broadcast rights-safe
Being able to insert a file or link does not grant permission to stream its contents. Use video, music and other material you own or are authorized to broadcast, and consider YouTube’s copyright rules before going live. A live host introduction does not by itself establish that third-party footage or music is permitted. YouTube’s eligibility and live-streaming guidance is available at YouTube Help.

If your aim is a YouTube channel that continuously loops uploaded videos rather than a host-led show with an inserted clip, StreamNeo is a separate cloud option. Nothing has to stay on at home; StreamNeo streams the uploaded file as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
