To check earnings from your own 24/7 YouTube live stream, open YouTube Studio and select Analytics → Revenue. Set the date range, then inspect the stream’s revenue report where available. The figure is an estimate, not necessarily the amount YouTube will ultimately pay. If Studio reports in another currency, any rupee conversion is approximate and should include the exchange-rate source and date.
Check a live stream’s revenue in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to the Google account that owns the channel and open YouTube Studio.
- Select Analytics, then open the Revenue tab.
- Choose a date range that includes the live broadcast. To focus on one stream, open its content-specific Analytics or revenue report if available. Check the live broadcast and its replay separately if the interface offers separate views.
- Read Estimated revenue for the estimated total across applicable YouTube revenue sources. Use Estimated ad revenue if you want the ads-only figure.
- Record the selected date range and the metric you used. Revisit the report after YouTube’s adjustments, then check finalized earnings in AdSense for YouTube for the settled amount.
YouTube says Analytics can show revenue breakdowns for live streams and live replays. The exact options available in a report can depend on the content and interface.
Understand the numbers before estimating rupees
| Metric | What it tells you | What it does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Estimated revenue | An estimate of creator revenue from applicable YouTube sources, which can include ads, YouTube Premium, memberships and live fan-funding features. | It is not necessarily the finalized payout. |
| Estimated ad revenue | Estimated creator revenue from ads. | It does not include every other revenue source. |
| RPM | Creator revenue per 1,000 views, after YouTube’s share. It can include ads, Premium, memberships, Super Chat and Super Stickers. | It is not an advertiser’s rate and does not mean every view earned revenue. YouTube describes RPM as “a snapshot of the rate at which you’re earning money on YouTube.” |
| CPM | Advertiser spending per 1,000 ad impressions, before YouTube’s revenue share. | It is not your earnings per 1,000 stream views. |
| Estimated monetized playbacks | Views in which at least one ad impression was shown. | It is not the same as total views; many views may not show an ad. |
Because views, ad impressions and estimated monetized playbacks are different counts, multiplying all stream views by an assumed CPM does not give a reliable earnings figure. A 24/7 broadcast does not have a guaranteed rupee-per-view rate: results depend on monetization eligibility, whether monetization is enabled, ad delivery, viewers and the revenue sources that apply to the channel.
How to express the estimate in rupees
Do not assume every YouTube Studio account has an INR currency switch. YouTube Analytics API documentation describes a currency parameter for some estimated-revenue and ad-performance metrics; that does not establish that an INR setting is available in every Studio report.

- If the report already displays INR, note that the figure is still an estimate and retain the date range and metric name.
- If it displays another currency, keep the reported amount and currency as the original figure. For a rupee equivalent, convert it separately using a named exchange-rate source and the rate for a stated date.
- Label the result as an approximate conversion of estimated revenue, not a guaranteed payout. Exchange rates change, and the final AdSense for YouTube amount may differ from the Studio estimate.
Why the estimate can change
YouTube says estimated revenue may be adjusted for invalid traffic, Content ID claims or disputes, and certain ad campaign types. YouTube describes a more complete estimate after about a week, with another adjustment in the middle of the following month. Compare the report with finalized AdSense for YouTube earnings rather than treating the current Studio estimate as money already paid. YouTube also says there are no guarantees under the YouTube Partner Agreement about how much, or whether, a creator will be paid.
Common mistakes when checking 24/7 stream earnings
- Using total views as paid views: Not every view gets an ad. Look at monetized playbacks and revenue metrics instead of multiplying views by an assumed CPM.
- Calling CPM your earnings rate: CPM is advertiser spending before revenue share; RPM is the creator-side revenue metric.
- Mixing up revenue sources: Estimated ad revenue is ads only, while estimated revenue may include other applicable YouTube sources.
- Treating an estimate as a payout: Estimates can be adjusted; finalized AdSense for YouTube earnings are the settled figure.
- Reporting rupees without conversion context: If you convert from another currency, state the rate source and date and call the result approximate.
Or let it run in the cloud
Checking revenue is a YouTube Studio task; keeping a prerecorded stream online continuously is a separate one. StreamNeo is a cloud service for looping uploaded videos on YouTube. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. It streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card.
