To show a prerecorded yoga video as live all day, send it to YouTube through a live encoder or a cloud service built for continuous prerecorded streaming. First confirm that your channel can livestream and that you have the rights to rebroadcast both the yoga video and any music in it.
What “looping” means on YouTube
YouTube’s Loop control repeats a video or playlist for someone watching it; it does not create a live broadcast. A livestream requires a feed to be sent to YouTube through a live-streaming workflow, such as an encoder. See YouTube’s explanations of looping videos and creating a live stream with an encoder.
For an all-day broadcast, the encoder or cloud service must repeat the prerecorded video and continue sending its feed to YouTube. YouTube’s encoder guidance describes software and hardware encoders and lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for continuous streaming of prerecorded videos. YouTube notes that listed encoder products are not made by YouTube; a listing is not an independent assessment of a provider’s features or performance.
Before you start: eligibility and rights
Confirm livestream access
Check that livestreaming is enabled for your channel and that it has no livestream restrictions. YouTube says the channel must be verified and have had no livestreaming restrictions in the past 90 days; the minimum age to livestream is 16. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave setup until broadcast time. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Clear the video and music for rebroadcast
You need the rights to use the yoga instruction and all other content in the live and archived broadcast, including background music. Having bought, downloaded, or watched a video does not by itself give you permission to retransmit it. YouTube’s livestream terms make the provider responsible for having the necessary rights, and live content must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines. Use material you created or have permission to stream, and check that the permission covers livestreaming and any resulting archive.
Choose a way to keep the stream running
Run an encoder locally
A software or hardware encoder sends the video feed from equipment you control. A local setup gives you control over the encoder and its settings, but the equipment and its internet connection must remain available for the stream to continue. You will need to set up the looping source, configure the encoder, and monitor the broadcast.

Use a cloud service for prerecorded video
A cloud service designed for continuous prerecorded-video streaming runs the source away from your home computer. YouTube’s encoder help page currently names Gyre in this category. Compare options by whether they support your intended workflow and quality, how they handle stream health and recovery, what setup and monitoring they require, and their current terms and cost. The available YouTube guidance does not provide an independent performance test or a current price comparison.
Set up an encoder stream
- Enable livestreaming in YouTube Studio. Confirm channel eligibility and allow time for first-time activation, which YouTube says can take up to 24 hours.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or select the live stream and find the stream URL and stream key. Copy these into the encoder’s YouTube connection settings; YouTube’s encoder instructions explain the connection process.
- Protect the stream key. Treat it like a password. Do not share it or expose it in a public screenshot. If it is compromised, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio before continuing.
- Load the yoga video as the encoder source and enable repeat playback. The exact control depends on the encoder. Confirm that playback returns to the beginning rather than stopping at the end; YouTube’s viewer-side Loop control is not a substitute for this encoder setting.
- Set a supported video format and bitrate. Choose an output resolution and frame rate the source and encoder can sustain, then use YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrate, and resolution recommendations for the matching format. Set the bitrate to fit your available upload bandwidth, with headroom: YouTube’s streaming tips recommend 20% extra capacity beyond the stream’s needs.
- Use RTMPS where your encoder supports it. YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension of RTMP, for sending the stream.
- Start with a test, not the all-day broadcast. Check the Live Control Room preview and stream health, then verify video and audio—including the start and end of the loop—before relying on the setup. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring the stream; see its live-streaming tips and streaming tips.
- Keep the source and connection running. For a local encoder, the computer or hardware, encoder, source file, and network connection all need to stay available. Monitor the live stream rather than assuming that a successful start guarantees it will continue all day.
Plan for the replay separately
Do not assume YouTube will save the entire all-day broadcast. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, but a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If retaining the complete session matters, record a local copy as a backup. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.
