On October 2, 2026, 9to5Toys reported the Hisense XR10 4K triple-laser projector at $4,499.99 shipped through Amazon, describing it as $1,498 off a $5,998 comparison price. The report also said the offer included a carrying case. That is a dated deal report, not confirmation that the same price, seller, stock, or package is still available; check the live listing before buying.
What the October deal report says
9to5Toys’ October 2, 2026 deal report listed the XR10 at $4,499.99 shipped through Amazon and called it a new low. Its stated $1,498 discount uses a $5,998 reference price. Both the deal and the price-history description belong to that report; neither establishes the current offer.
The report said the carrying case came with the offer. Tom’s Guide’s August 2026 review also said its consumer test unit included a sturdy roller case with multiple carry points. Those details support the case being part of the reported package and review unit, not a guarantee that every seller or regional package includes one. Confirm the contents shown on the listing you plan to buy.
How the price compares with earlier published figures
Price references differ by source and date, so they should not be treated as one settled list price.

|---|---|
| 9to5Toys, October 2, 2026 | Reported $4,499.99 shipped, $1,498 below a stated $5,998 comparison price; described as a new low. |
| Tom’s Guide, August 2026 | Described an initial price of $6,999 and said Hisense’s shop showed a $1,000 discount to $5,999 with a carrying case. |
The $5,998 figure in the October report and $5,999 figure in the August review are not identical. The available reporting does not establish a single baseline that reconciles them. Check the current price and package directly rather than assuming either historical comparison still applies.
What Hisense says the XR10 offers
Hisense USA identifies the XR10 as a 4K triple-laser smart projector. Its product page lists 6,000 ANSI lumens, an iris lens, and liquid cooling. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. See Hisense USA’s XR10 specifications.

Placement flexibility and image size
In a May 2026 global announcement, Hisense stated that the XR10 has a 0.84–2.0:1 optical zoom and 4K lossless lens shift of up to ±130% vertically and ±46% horizontally. The announcement also claims images up to 300 inches and 6,000 ANSI lumens. These are manufacturer claims, and the maximum image size does not mean every room can accommodate that image comfortably or that a screen is included. Read Hisense’s global announcement.
The zoom and lens shift matter when checking whether the projector can fit your room: compare the intended screen size and projector position with your available distance and mounting location. A claimed maximum diagonal alone cannot answer that question.

Hisense’s contrast figures conflict
Hisense USA lists contrast of up to 6,000:1 with the iris lens, while Hisense’s global announcement claims up to 60,000:1 with iris. The official figures differ by a factor of ten; neither should be presented as an independently measured result, and the available sources do not resolve the discrepancy. Hisense USA’s product page and the global announcement show the separate claims.
What to check before paying a premium-projector price
At the reported price, suitability depends on the room and the viewing setup as much as on headline specifications. Before ordering, check:

- The live transaction: confirm the price, seller, shipping, stock, and return terms on the exact listing. The October 2 report does not verify today’s offer.
- The package: look for the carrying case in the listing’s included-items details; its presence in the deal report and one review unit does not establish universal inclusion.
- Room geometry: use the stated zoom and lens-shift ranges to assess projector placement for your intended image size. The 300-inch maximum is a manufacturer claim, not a promise that it will work in your room.
- Screen and light: decide on image size and screen based on room layout and ambient light. The sources establish no single screen choice as right for every buyer.
- Picture-quality evidence: do not treat the manufacturer’s brightness or conflicting contrast claims as independent test results. The cited material does not provide a controlled comparison against competing projectors.
Is the reported XR10 deal worth considering?
The October report describes a substantial price reduction from its own $5,998 reference and an included case, but a reader should first establish that the same listing and package remain available. The XR10’s stated zoom and lens shift are relevant if they solve a real placement constraint; the supplied specifications alone do not prove that it is the best value for a particular room. Compare products using prices and package contents from the same date, room-relevant placement ranges, screen needs, supported HDR and gaming features, and verified independent picture-quality measurements.
