Yes. AirPods can connect to a Samsung Galaxy phone over Bluetooth for listening and talking. Put the AirPods into pairing mode for their model, then select them in the phone’s Bluetooth settings. Apple says Siri is not available when AirPods are used with a non-Apple device.
How to pair AirPods with a Samsung Galaxy phone

On the Galaxy phone, open Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on. Menu names can vary by Galaxy model and software version.

Put the AirPods into pairing mode using the instructions for their model:

When the AirPods appear in the Galaxy phone’s Bluetooth device list, tap them. Confirm pairing if the phone asks.
What works when AirPods are connected to Samsung?
Apple documents listening to audio and talking through AirPods on a non-Apple device. Siri is unavailable. Apple’s instructions do not provide a Samsung-specific feature list, so they do not establish that every AirPods control or advanced feature works the same way on a Galaxy phone as it does with Apple devices.

If audio or call behavior is unexpected, Samsung says you can check the connected Bluetooth device’s permissions in the phone’s Bluetooth settings. The available switches depend on the device; seeing a permission setting does not guarantee a particular AirPods feature.

AirPods do not appear in the device list: Check that Bluetooth is on and that the AirPods are actively in pairing mode. A Bluetooth device must be discoverable to show up for pairing.

AirPods were paired before but will not reconnect: Remove the saved Bluetooth connection on the Galaxy phone, then put the AirPods back into pairing mode and pair them again.

Pairing still fails: Restart both devices and check Bluetooth permissions. Samsung also recommends restarting the Galaxy phone and checking for a software update if basic reconnection steps do not work.

What to expect before using AirPods with Samsung
You do not need an Apple device for basic Bluetooth listening and calling. The key setup detail is using the correct pairing gesture for your AirPods generation. If you rely on Siri or need confirmation that a particular advanced feature works on Samsung, Apple’s non-Apple-device guidance does not establish that support.
