For the U.S. schedule on Saturday, October 12, 2024, Netflix had the clearest batch of additions: the Korean-language series premiere A Virtuous Business, plus the licensed films A Quiet Place Part II and Clifford the Big Red Dog. No major Prime Video release was listed for that date, and Disney+’s official U.S. calendar skips from October 11 to October 15.
This is a historical release-date guide. Catalog availability may have changed, and release dates can differ outside the United States.

Netflix: three clear additions
A Virtuous Business — the day’s main new series
A Virtuous Business is a Korean-language Netflix series premiere and the principal Netflix original launch identified for October 12. It is the strongest choice if you want an entirely new serialized show rather than a film added from another distributor.

A Quiet Place Part II — the horror pick
The 2021 sequel A Quiet Place Part II arrived as a licensed catalog movie, not a Netflix original. Its post-apocalyptic creature-feature setup makes it the natural October-season choice for horror viewers. Netflix availability does not make the film exclusive to Netflix.
Clifford the Big Red Dog — the family option
The 2021 live-action Clifford the Big Red Dog was the principal family-oriented addition in the October 12 Netflix list. It is the feature film, not the separate animated television series or the original children’s-book property.

Also listed on Netflix: possible new episodes
A daily schedule from Geeky Hobbies also places The Great Indian Kapil Show and Ranma ½ on October 12. Treat those as possible new installments rather than automatically calling them series premieres.
The distinction matters for Ranma ½: TVLine’s month-wide calendar places its Netflix series premiere on October 5. October 12 may therefore represent a weekly episode or a different scheduling convention. The available listings do not establish a separate October 12 debut for either program.

Prime Video: no major October 12 release listed
The consulted U.S. October calendars identify no notable Prime Video premiere or catalog addition specifically dated Saturday, October 12. Prime Video did have important October launches on other dates, including The Legend of Vox Machina season 3 and Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, but those should not be presented as October 12 releases. TVLine’s schedule is the source for that broader monthly context: TVLine’s October streaming calendar.
This is not proof that every Prime Video storefront changed nothing that day. A minor catalog update, a regional release, a rental or purchase listing, or an episode absent from the monthly calendar could still have appeared. It means no major included-with-Prime U.S. release was identified for the date.

Disney+: no October 12 U.S. addition listed
Disney’s official U.S. schedule lists Expedition Amazon, new episodes of Ayla & The Mirrors, and the The Simpsons short “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” on Friday, October 11. The calendar then jumps to October 15, with no Saturday, October 12 entry: Disney+’s October 2024 schedule.
That makes October 11 the relevant nearby Disney+ drop, not October 12. Disney also notes that library availability varies by region and can change, so this date-specific result applies to the U.S. schedule rather than every country.
