To accept appointments in Hostinger AI Builder, you enable Appointments in Store management, set your availability, create an appointment product, and add that product’s page to a section of your site. The current Hostinger support guide says the feature requires a Hostinger Ecommerce plan that includes the appointments product type, so confirm that your plan includes it before you start.
Check the plan requirement first
Hostinger’s current support guide states the requirement directly:
“Accepting appointments requires a Hostinger Ecommerce plan that includes the appointments product type.”
Hostinger’s marketing copy for online booking uses a different label, referring to a Business Website Builder plan. Plan names and their contents can vary by market and change over time, so check the plan name shown in your own account rather than copying one label from elsewhere. If Appointments does not appear under Store management, your plan likely does not include the appointments product type.

Set up appointments step by step
- In the builder, open Store management, choose Appointments, and turn the feature on.
- Under Your availability, set the default weekly schedule. This is the schedule every appointment uses unless you override it, so enter your normal working hours here and block any days you are not available.
- Go to Products → Add product and select the appointment type.
- Enter a descriptive title. Hostinger uses this title automatically as the product page’s meta title, so write it as you would want it to appear in search results.
- Choose a price model. Select Free for reservations that require no payment, or Amount for paid appointments. A paid price cannot be zero or discretionary.
- In Duration & Location, enter how long the appointment lasts and where it takes place. Turn on custom availability here only if this service needs its own schedule.
- In Buffers and Notice times, set preparation time before and after each booking, the minimum notice a customer needs, and how far in advance customers can book. If you offer flexible time slots, choose a slot interval.
- Save the product. Hostinger creates its product page automatically.
- Add the product to a product section on your site so visitors can find it. A saved product that is not placed in a section will not be visible through your pages.
- Optional: connect Google Calendar and review your cancellation and rescheduling settings, both covered below.
Availability and time slots
Availability works in two layers. The global schedule applies to every appointment by default. Each appointment can instead use custom availability, which Hostinger documents as either a recurring weekly schedule with blocked days or a set of specific dates and hours. Hostinger announced this per-appointment control in a changelog dated April 7, 2026. Older support material that describes one shared schedule for all services predates that change, so the current guide is the one to follow.
Global versus custom availability
Use the global schedule when all of your services share the same hours, such as a single consultation type. Use custom availability when services differ, for example a 30-minute call available on weekday evenings and a two-hour session available only on Saturdays. Custom schedules are independent, so changing the global schedule does not change an appointment that has its own schedule.

Standard versus flexible slots
By default, booking slots follow the appointment’s duration. Flexible time slots let you offer start times at a fixed interval that does not depend on how long the appointment runs. A 60-minute service offered every 30 minutes is one example. Slots do not overlap, and each one is reserved for a single customer.
Time zones
Hostinger says your working hours are interpreted in the time zone of the device you use to set them, and customers see available times in their own time zone. Before you publish, check that the device you are configuring from is set to the time zone where you actually work. For example, if you are in Berlin but your laptop is set to New York, a 9:00 start would be entered as 9:00 New York time and shown to customers at the wrong local hour.

Payments and refunds
Each appointment is either free or paid. Paid appointments take payment at booking. Hostinger does not process refunds automatically, so if you cancel a paid appointment, you must issue the refund yourself first. The cancellation dialog can display your store’s refund policy, which helps you stay consistent with what customers were told at checkout.

Cancellations and rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule any booking from Store Manager. A cancellation requires a reason, and a reschedule requires you to choose a replacement time. You can also let customers manage their own bookings. When the relevant settings are enabled, confirmation emails include cancellation and rescheduling links.
Only unpaid and unfulfilled appointments can be canceled directly. For a paid booking, the order is: refund the customer, then cancel the appointment. If you skip the refund step, the booking remains a paid record that you have to resolve manually.

Google Calendar sync
To connect, open Store management → Appointments → Settings → Google Calendar, connect an account, and grant access to view and add calendar events. Once connected, new bookings are added to Google Calendar with their details, and cancellations or reschedules made in Hostinger update the calendar entry.
The sync is one-directional. Editing a booking directly in Google Calendar does not change the appointment in Hostinger AI Builder. If you move a booking in your calendar, the customer’s record still shows the original time. Make changes in Hostinger’s appointment management so both systems stay aligned.
Troubleshooting
- Appointments is missing from Store management. Confirm that your plan includes the appointments product type. Plan labels vary, so check the name shown in your account.
- Customers see the wrong times. Check the time zone on the device where you set your availability, and confirm whether the product is using custom availability instead of the global schedule.
- The appointment does not appear on the site. A saved product page is not shown automatically. Add it to a product section.
- A booking differs from Google Calendar. Edits made in Google Calendar do not sync back. Correct the booking in Hostinger.
- A paid appointment cannot be canceled. Issue the refund first, then cancel.
