Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi! are reported as free Nintendo Switch downloads with the same basic touchscreen play pattern. The documented difference is the featured character; coverage does not establish exclusive Peach or Luigi activities. Both are described as simple interactive experiences for a young child and caregiver, with face play, objects, peekaboo and an optional sleep break. [Nintendo Life] [Nintendo World Report]
What are Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi!?
They are small character-focused interactive apps in Nintendo’s My Mario line, rather than full-length games with documented levels, progression or objectives. The reported Switch experience is designed around touchscreen input and play between a child and caregiver. [Nintendo World Report]
What can you do in the apps?
Launch coverage describes a shared set of simple activities:
- Touch, pull and stretch the character’s face, or tap and spin it.
- Use a menu to bring objects into the scene, including a Super Mushroom, Super Star, pipes and enemies.
- Play peekaboo.
- After some play, the character may get tired and fall asleep; the reported overview says this behavior can be turned off in settings.
The descriptions do not establish a specific educational benefit, age rating, accessibility testing or product-specific playtime, so those should not be assumed. [Nintendo World Report]

How are Peach and Luigi different?
The documented distinction is which character appears: Peach in one app and Luigi in the other. Available launch coverage describes the same general feature pattern for both and does not establish character-exclusive mechanics, levels or modes. Choose based on which character the child prefers, rather than expecting a different kind of game. [Nintendo World Report] [Nintendo Life]
Which devices can run them?
Launch reports identify Nintendo Switch and describe touch interaction on the console. They also report that the apps are free downloads from the Switch eShop. The available coverage does not confirm iOS or Android releases for Hello, Peach! or Hello, Luigi!: a headline mentioning mobile is not enough to establish that these two apps have mobile listings. Check Nintendo’s official storefront for your country before relying on regional availability. [Nintendo World Report] [Nintendo Life]

- Nintendo Switch is the home of Mario & friends
The reproduced app overview says an internet connection is not needed after download. That describes offline play once installed; it does not remove the need to download the app first. [Nintendo World Report]
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Do you need to buy anything?
The apps are reported as free, so a household that already has a compatible Nintendo Switch does not need to buy a separate game to try them. A household without a Switch would need the platform identified in launch coverage to use the reported version; the app’s free price does not make it a phone app. Confirm the current listing and device requirements in your regional eShop before downloading.
