Most are found by following a hidden route or completing a specific objective. These are community-reported directions, not developer-confirmed guarantees, so check names and entrances in the live game if a patch has changed the map.
All seven Nightfall schematic routes at a glance

The table summarizes routes reported by Nerd’s Chalk and Pro Game Guides. Place names vary between guides, especially for the Serpent Katana, Scythe, and Sickles destinations.
Where to find each Nightfall schematic
Nightfall Katana: Mistfall Harbor waterfall
- Travel to the docks at Mistfall Harbor and locate the waterfall.
- Dive and look for an underwater opening behind or beside the falls.
- Follow the passage into the cave, then climb toward the chest or platform in the upper-right area.
This is one of the more direct routes in the guides: one underwater cave visit, with no separate multi-part objective reported.
Nightfall Serpent Katana: Harbor keys and locked cave chest
- Search underwater around Mistfall Harbor for Serpent Keys.
- Take the keys to the locked chest in the nearby cave. Guides use different names for this destination, including Dreamfall Hollow and Verdant Cliffs, so use the Harbor-key connection and cave chest rather than relying on one region label.
- Try the keys one at a time. At least one guide reports that the correct key is character-specific; a failed attempt with one key does not establish that the schematic is unavailable.
The published routes agree on collecting keys around the Harbor and testing them at a locked cave chest, but do not establish a single unambiguous destination name.

Nightfall Axe & Mace: Bamboo-area mountain building
- Go to the mountain building or pagoda in the Bamboo Grove/Bamboo area near Mother Bear.
- Enter and use the small platforms to climb to the top chest.
Mobility skills may make the platforming easier, according to the route guides; they are not listed as a required unlock.
Nightfall Scythe: underwater cave beneath the Wind Trainer
- In the Snow Village or Iceveil Valley region, find the platform associated with the Wind Trainer.
- Dive beneath it and pass behind the submerged statue to reach the deeper hidden cave.
- One published turn sequence is: straight, first left, first left again, first right, first left, then right at the end; continue to the schematic.
Snow Village and Iceveil Valley are alternative area labels used in guides. If the turns do not match the current layout, recheck the entrance and route in game rather than assuming the schematic has moved.

Nightfall Gauntlets: three statues and three attack types
- Speak with Stonemason Tobei in Hidden Mist Village to start the objective.
- Find and activate the three statues. Guides report that each takes 100 hits, with a different attack type for each:
- Windy Peak/Akaza cave: Breathing Style or Demon Art attacks.
- Dungeon or Rengoku-area bridge: sword attacks.
- Hidden Mist treetops: fists.
- Return to Tobei after all three statues register as activated.
The 100-hit count and attack-type assignments are reported by community guides, not independently confirmed game documentation. Landmark descriptions differ; use the required attack type as a practical check that the correct statue is registering progress.
Nightfall Claws: underwater entrance near Butterfly Estate
- Go to Butterfly Estate and search the water near the Yeti area or estate bridge.
- Locate the underwater cave entrance and follow the submerged passage to the hidden reward area.
The guides describe the same general estate-side water route but do not provide one consistently named entrance landmark.

Nightfall Sickles: ten levers, then the hidden entrance
- Activate ten levers distributed around the map.
- After all ten are active, go to the reported sewer or secret entrance near the Rengoku boss route at Mistfall Harbor.
- Enter the unlocked area and collect the schematic.
Published lever lists place them around Butterfly Estate, Bamboo Grove, Hidden Mist or Verdant Cliffs, the Stone Trainer area, Mistfall Harbor, Snow Village, and Akaza Cave. Descriptions differ between guides, and the reward entrance is variously called a sewer, secret door, or Forgotten Ruins entrance. Use a current in-game checklist or map guide to identify all ten rather than treating those area names as a complete set of precise coordinates.

There are no reliable completion-time comparisons in the guides, but their objectives show which routes involve more separate tasks:

- Start with the Katana if you want a single reported underwater-cave visit.
- Choose the Axe & Mace if you prefer a platforming route rather than a map-wide checklist.
- Leave the Sickles for a checklist session if you do not want to track ten scattered levers.
- Expect retries on the Serpent Katana because the route involves collecting and testing keys, and one guide says the matching key may depend on the character.
- Set aside time for the Gauntlets because the objective combines three statues, three attack types, and a reported 100 hits per statue.
Do schematics unlock crafting, and what is known about requirements?
September 2026 guides associate Nightfall forging with Blacksmith Togane and a level 65 progression gate. One guide also describes Togane progression, the corresponding schematic, a prerequisite weapon, and materials as crafting requirements. These are unofficial reports: no developer source in the available material confirms the current level gate or a complete recipe. The sources also differ on broader crafting requirements, so do not assume that collecting all seven schematics is necessary to craft one Nightfall weapon.
